    I think I mis-worded that one. What I mean to say is the concept it interesting. But the visual/mechanic isn't very creative as its just a few green things being fired at an enemy unit. They could do much more which the Swarm Cluster even so it ties into Zerg lore.

    With this. I think it cuts out skill as it basically opens the window wide open for you. Players could still do this with a combination of Medics a Dropship and Marine. But with the Medivac, you lose a useful unit which could have its own set of tactics. But now every possiblity of a Marine won't be explored as its handed to us on a plate.

    And yes, I agree with you on the lack of courtesy. Its only a game lol.

    ah i remember a controversial topic a while ago.

    It was regarding weither or not if the charge ability had the leg enhancement in it or if it was a separate upgrade can you please clarify this?

    and how effective was the immortals heavy shield in battle vs Zerg, Terran, Protoss? in that order please.

    The Immortal's heavy shield was very useful against the Terran, as one would assume.

    It's good against heavy hitters but just plain not worth it against anything below the 10 dmg threshold.

    So versus Zerg it's decent against Ultralisks, etc, but you're probably better off using things like the Nullifier's Force Field and Psi Storm than you are from producing Immortals.

    Also, there was no Zealot leg upgrade, and their speed CERTAINLY increased, so I'm thinking that leg enhancement has just been removed entirely and combined into Charge.

    Were unit and upgrade costs similar to the ones in SC1 (i.e., only 00 and 50 ends) or was there a wider variety (like 5 ends)?

    You mentioned earlier that the medicdropship made reapers toatally not usefull, but wasnt it added to make reapers stronger (Blizzard said that at least)?

    Yeah, that was the intended effect. But my reasoning is, if you're already bringing a Dropship along to heal your Reapers, why not just fill it with the more powerful Marines???

    They made dropship heal because Medics couldn't keep up with Reapers, but since dropship can just take marines with it, Reapers weren't used anyway

    Yeah, so the medivac dropship does nothing good does it?

    Well it highlights an obvious strategy and makes it easier.

    This can be done with dropships marines and medics.

    Reaper will be useful.

    Well I hope they give back the original medic and let reapers stay, just give them something worth it.

    Cut the reaper IMO. To weak, only a harasser.

    Give Marines the increased range, increased hp, and a jetpack upgrade and we should be set. Low tier unit would be made competitive late game and the slot in the Barracks would be free for the Medic and/or the Marauder/Firebat.

    Question for those who have played the game

    I want to know just how powerful the queen is. So, in a toe-to-toe match between a Hive Matriarch and an Ultralisk, who would win? What about versus an archon?

    Before you flame I KNOW that the queen is not meant to be a fighter but a base building tool. I just want to know how vulnerable she is exactly, how much she can handle when it comes to holding the line.

    Merged from another topic because SOMEONE didn't know that I answer all the questions in here...

    Anyway, the Queen vs. an Ultralisk the Ultra wins without the Queen's abilities, of course. :D

    I think they should get the medic back, the med-dropship doesn't help the reaper at all.

    I dont like how blizzard said that medics didnt have an effective counter. well i know of 2. and splash Dmg is a good counter. why u ask, well a medic can only heal one target :) and the second counter is an instant killer such as a ghost. making a few extra ghost and picking off medics with snip would help bring down the army and or scare the enemy into a withdraw.

    if u want to know the answer, you would do best to ask joneagle_X, because he played the latest ver. on the 13 of march i believe. ( or a day around that )
