Great job guys! These videos are awesome! I enjoyed each one thoroughly, and I'm also glad you got a key DiablosDungeon! I saw your vid on Youtube a few weeks ago and it was...well, freakin' sweet to say the least Again, good job everyone! *applause*

Actually already saw that post but forgot to reply when I was editing sniper's post.

Anyway, the April 1st keys are designated for the site keys that we should receive from Blizzard as "fansite keys." The keys we received for this competition are "Blizzard keys" which are given out to sponsor competitions. There's a difference between the two.

The fansite keys will be distributed in some manner when we receive them.

 

Ok, those were based on pure "luck" right?

If you get more Blizzard Keys would you think about my article idea? Im thinking everything from an article of when you first saw sc2 to how to set up ports so you can host blizzard games to strategy guides for war3, sc1 etc.

Why was Marcus's moved to Outpost Outtakes? Its not a podcast in any sense of the word any just takes keys away from others that actually had videos relevant to the category.

 

As far as I know, I won in the Psi Report category.

No, he is talking about another video, with a similar name....

 

So I make a podcast in a podcast category only to be shown that there's only ONE key given out instead of three in that category? Glad we all have to follow the rules so you can make **** up on the fly. That's very stand up of you.

You can say what you want about the subjective judging of individual videos, but the rules were made to be just that: rules. 3 keys per category, not 1 key in certain category because certain people claim 2 keys only to publically admit on here that they WILL(aka in the future) find a good "home" for the key. If I lost to other people in my category, great, but if my category gets denied the 3 keys for it, that's where it gets lame.

 

If you want to get technical with me your video was submitted at a length of 4:37. That's 1:37 over the 3 minute limit which was "not strict." That's 40% over the limit. That's out of the flexible zone.

I respond well to reasoned arguments that take into account the fact that I do this on my own time for your guys' benefit.

You win some. You lose some.

 

And we thank you for giving us a great chance at getting into the beta and giving out massive ammounts of keys!!

Im sure ill get to play it at blizzcon if i dont get into the Opt in!

 

Seradin, it sounds like you don't know that every BlizzCon visitor gets a "goodiebag" containing a Starcraft 2 beta key to name one item.

 

And you made a podcast category, have you ever heard a podcast or seen a vodcast in your life? Again, ok I didn't win where were the other 2 keys for outpost categories? This isn't even so much about me not winning as more to the point that you disregarded your own rules and only gave 1 key out in that category. How terribly ironic is it to have a podcast category with...no podcasts. You're trying to justify breaking your own rules and you still can't answer that you denied other people keys as well in the category. You can pretend my video never existed and still you don't have a valid response, you broke your own rules and then when I bend a nonstrict rule I get excluded, genius reasoning.

 

Two friends helped make my video so a good "home" means it'll go to one of them... Probally the one who had to rush his own submission (In Outpost Outakes) to help me finish mine in time >>

As I've told numerous participants, if you have an issue with the method or decision making process of StarCraft2Forum.org's competitions, you are welcome to submit a PM to me. Posting accusations and generally being disruptive in a competition thread is not something I'm willing to tolerate.

There will always be someone who is unhappy. I can't appease everyone. My goal is to ensure that those who choose to contribute to the community have a fair chance at being rewarded and those who don't disappear. You may choose which side you would like to be on.

As with any other member you are welcome to enter future competitions at StarCraft2Forum.org. That would be my suggested course of action.

I really don't feel the need to pm you because as I said, I could careless who you pick: you're right it is subjective and up to you. But each category was supposed to receive 3 keys and that simply wasn't the case, I'm just bringing the reality, 3 keys weren't given for outpost outtakes, let people decide of it what they will.
