SC2 site update: Observer and some new artwork

I think they are dark templar weapons/devices.

They have the same look as zeratuls armor.

 

merging is good, but im not a mod, so I can't do anything about it.

Unless someone knows how to override it, I don't think I can merge them with yours on top, it places replies in the order that they were posted, and yours was posted after the other one.

I split them back up, and deleted the other one, nothing was being said, anyway, and this one is better formatted.

The opening petals are an interesting touch, and make me think, what if when it is still and the petals open it has increased sight range?

Yup , I just did that top right pic from the site, the words say Beep Boop! but its to small, I need to change it.

You should wait till you have an observer unit portrait that you can put up.

I like how the Observer now looks like a baby brother to a warp-ray.

Anyone else find the appearing flower motif kinda weird for battle hardened warriors?
Kinda lends them a strange dichotomy doesn't it?

 

It does look kind f weired for the Protoss. I think its just a way for Blizzard to show the amount a graphics they are putting into the making of this game. Personally, I kind of like how it looks, maybe I won't lose them as easily this time.

 

It would be nice if they doubled the size but hopefully the blue shine should help with the misplacing part. The outer "petal" things that stick out when the thing is closed detracts from the elegence a little though. It would look better if those sat flush with the inner petals

 

I think they add a little character and dimension to it. The back section would look too small if the outer 'petals' were directly on the 'inner petals'.
