To be honest, this game has now completely lost its 'newness' feeling for me. Playing it wouldn't feel special at all. I have lost interest.

 

Well that makes four of us in this thread already lol. Lets hope valve gets the next big update out before 2010.

I know alot of you will hate me for saying this but...playing the beta will make the wait less painful ^^

Well I didn't even expect it to be released this year so I'm not that disappointed. I've been thinking that it will be released maybe February or March next year. Next summer could also be good so playing doesn't distract studying.

Well, Daggerfall and Morrowind will keep me busy while waiting.

That sounds pretty familiar. I'm not getting interested at all in new videos or other news and discussing the game has become boring. But I bet that I will be excited when the game is released.

 

Boring, not at all! At least not for me. Im still as interested and upset as when I saw the game the first time!

To describe my feelings more accurately...

I've seen enough videos and pictures to have a good idea how it will feel to play: How it looks; how the units move and respond. I can picture the game right now. I can imagine playing it.

In fact it was much the same with warcraft 3. I bought that in 2006? when it was re-released under the reduced price "best seller series" label. But over the previous year I had developed the same ability to imagine it, and get an approximate idea for how it felt, as I have now with sc2.

So the way I feel about sc2 is now exactly like how I feel about those reduced price games that I wouldn't expect to pay more than £10 for, or any two for £15

 

Hopefully this just means it will be even more balanced and less patches needed.

agreed, I rarly even visit the forums now. Used to do it everyday and at one point had a average post count of 40 per day, but now i visit 1 or 2 times a week.

 

Probably because you did it so much for 2 years that its gotten old to you what i would do is forget for a bit till blizzcon see what happens then check things less frequently (manly because you already pretty much know how things are going to go down so fishing for info isen't as interesting).

Its also because its close but the fact that is about 8+ months out meens that we still have a little while to wate for it. (excludeing beta of course).

As for the 10 euro thing I don"t know about that.
