SC2 Engine Upgrade

SC wouldn't be done justice in an FPS unless it was 50vs50 in a match... Btw, if Ghost ever had Multiplayer it should be like Natural Selection.

I don't exactly see where this topic has gone, or even began, really. The topic title suggests something about an upgrade of the graphics engine, but it seems more of a discussion of the gameplay... weird...

Anyway, and FPS StarCraft would be cool... oh, wait, they made Ghost and it sucked. Nevermind! \

You would need an MMORPG that is similar to some of the Starcraft UMS games where a constant battle is taking place all around you, etc....

 

yeah ghost sucks, but its not like battlefield or battlefront

There's always the MMOs, they're open for the most part. But there's the subscription fees too, usually.

 

I've always been thinking... Why not World of Starcraft instead of WoW? I would def. play WoS and be a High Templar.

 

Same reason they didn't make ghost. They didn't want to make Starcraft stray out of its RTS roots.

 

StarCraft can be an MMO and still be an RTS...but I don't think the world is quite ready for a major MMORTS game quite yet. (It's a pity it isn't, I've been ready for at least four years.)

 

But our computer won't be ready for a couple more years.
