Can you please give us the link to this site ?
It is probably the release date of the BETA version, not the finalized game.

For the final product, let's wait for .... Christmas 2010. LOL

Ridiculous. Gamestop doesn't have a crystal ball; they don't know the release date.

 

1n5an1ty: GameStop doesn't know any more than we do. They're just making an educated guess. That said- it's not an unreasonable guess, based on what we know so far.

 

Those random predictions gives false hopes for some fanatics like us T_T

I think at the beginning of 2009 was better to announce Starcraft 2..not in 2007 ! Too much waiting

Lets pretend we all just heard of it this year during blizzcon 09 and pretend to be on hype as we were 10 years ago... lol

 

Then we would just now be dealing with the problems that we had with the game in 2007. Don't you see that Blizzard needs community feedback? If left to their own ideas, they change the game in ways the community does not want. So, in fact, this scenario would INCREASE the time before we get the game so the difference in waiting time wouldn't be as much in your favor as you think.
