now THAT would suck. Then you would not be able to mix and match.

it just takes up more space. depot=2x2 rax/factory/starport=4x4 and the bunkers are now 3x3. which is great, cause if you are blocking a passage way with depots and there is 1x2 space left, you would rather skip building the last one and put a bunker there instead.
and i hope they have room for 6-8 rines now :)

holy mother, you just have to find the red dot and then cast timebomb, timing isn't hard because it lasts about 5-10 seconds and its instant cast

this is intresting, it seems like blizzard made the siege tank even better, now with even longer range it seems like its a really strong unit for its relative low cost

this brings in some new tactics, for example you could load up some marines backed up by sum medics or you could load up only firebats in lets say 2 drop pods and launch them into a army of zerglings to deal some big damage

guess this is for so they will actually be used instead of just placing sum siegetanks behind sum supply depots

If they don't have room for 6-8 marines, I'm going to make 'em that way in my own campaign.

More room inside would be sweet. I hope they don´t overdo it with defensive orientation for Terrans.

hmmm... wonder if you can put a Thor in a drop pod? just kidding...
But rines, bats (if they make it thru) meds and supposedly SCVs can be loaded, if you load them yourself

They are counted as mechanical and organic at the same time.

I wonder will you be able to load zealots and templar into a drop pod if you happen to be able to build Protoss units

Yes loading up allied units also sounds cool. I didn't suggest it myself though because I am not even sure if you will be able to transport allies at all

We'll upgrade the battlecruiser as we upgraded the mutalisk into a guardian or into a devourer.

I am astonished that there are no questions in this batch from the starcraft2forum .....

there no use of drop ships now other than to hit and run or use it as a bait. it would funny if you can load ally units, load it up with some suicidal units like infest marine and you got your self a cluster nuke

Heavyarms2050: Dropships are still much better for large drops, the fact that they're reusable, and the fact that they can transport larger units.

About loading SCVs: SCVs can be loaded into Bunkers and Dropships and take up the same amount of space as other infantry units. They're small, like other infantry units. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to squeeze some into a Drop Pod.

    On the Dropship/Droppod.....

You can't transport tanks, Cobra's, whatever in Drop Pods, and Dropships are much cheaper, plus less risk. With a Pod, you screw up, you loose Six Marines, a Ghost, and an expensive spell. Dropships, you can ditch your units.

The reason they don't answer questions from our site is that we ask good questions that to answer would reveal a lot of information.

Blizzard doesn't want to reveal information, and so they answer the retarded questions. They're trying to feed you the smallest amounts of information to keep you appeased.
