LOL, I know exactly what you mean the8thark.

To explain myself it's just sorta BS what info they do give out and how they give it out.
Is it nice to know what we currently know, yeah.
Would you not expect to know things like units, tech trees, basic mechanics, and some simple plot points in any other developers highly anticipated squeal?

What Blizz does different is talking about unfinished units for 2 years that often have little to no bearing on the end product. How long did we debate on these boards about the mother ship when that was first revealed? How much impact did any of that have? How could it have when we were debating an unfinished game....**** we knew nothing of the Zerg back then.
    "The MS is IMBA!"
"What makes you think you know that?"
And now from the last press playtest it seems the MS is a garbage endgame taunt unit. That's cool...

At times, yes, it's been fun to see what could be. Thus me saying I can't really complain. Just venting frustration.

At other times it feels like the biggest viral marketing campaign in gaming history.
I lose patience when we are told big news is coming in a week, but it's a secrete. Blizzard knows what we are all waiting for...beta. Why get our hopes up like that? Maybe it's more so team liquids/general presses fault...but the way they explain the PR guy coming in halfway through the day shouting NDA! NDA! ....sounds like more hype than Jimmy's ship.

To clarify what seems like all hate on my part, Blizz is still the best PC developer out there. I returned to WoW after WotlK released; I even repurchased War3 for the story elements I forgot when I first played it about 8 years ago. I can't get back into D2 after multiple attempts but am sure I will love D3. I still play SC and despite my frustration, I will sure as **** pick up SC2 on launch.

Blizz's games are ready when they're ready. I'm glad for that...but as a long time fan I do resent the tease. I think I would of preferred to have first heard about the game a year or six months ago.
