Heidegger and I started playing some matches and it seems we both started moving in a good way to improving, fought 2 battles and discussed them a bit too.

w00h00, I finally got my promotion from rank 13 bronze to rank 13 silver And funny thing is it was after a straight series of 3 or 4 losses, lol.

Any toss EU players that wanna practice some 1vs1s? I feel kinda frustrated against this matchup(all my loses were against toss) though my mistakes in the match were generally obvious, I'm still a little unsure on what kind of mix I want against what kind of a protoss army.

Anyway, the practice with heidegger helped me a lot, and I guess that the more people we'll get to practice with the better we'll improve. Come on ppl! Get this thread alive again!

@Xern, I'll add you when in-game mate. I can't make arrangements myself either since i got somewhat of a volatile schedule so we're prertty much around the same.

@JimReynolds, bah, I don't have a facebook account(and don't intend to make one, really dislike that facebook thing).. Oh well, let's hope ppl start revisiting this thread again too then

By the way I strongly encourage you(and the others) to join the Facebook group. There are about 180 active members. It is true that the NA server has a bigger pool of players but the EU and SEA servers are growing steadily =) Just follow JimReynolds link from above.

The chat from the Facebook group makes up for what B.net 2.0 does not. A place to simply chat and mingle amongst players within your community. Which makes it easier for players to find practice partners and host mini-tournaments.

 

Hmmm... I might consider making a smurf account with a smurf email attached just to join in then

 

someone should get an irc webchat thing set up for this jsut to accomodate the non-facebookers on here.
it'd also keep up a pretty lively community.

i don't know how though but hopefully the next person'll pick up this idea.
