    Ya you have to basicly look at sc2 as a whole new game sc is just the basic wire that is under what we see now as sc2.

    stalkers are weaker the dragoons due to the ability to move around so well

    the medic is now the medic dropship just to keep up with the speed

    zerg are now faster and more sinister simply because pathing and and speed have been improved

    What about making drones cheaper?
    maybe 45 or even 40 minerals..
    Or even decreasing drone build time..
    Or have drones mine 6-7 minerals per trip and ter and toss 5..
    Or give the zerg creep speed bonus to the drones..
    Or Increasing the drones total HP making them harder to kill.

    Just a few suggestions for those that think the zerg need something to counteract the other mining abilities..

    a bit to passive i think, it would also upset buildings cost unless you want to add an odd 5 to 10 minerals to every building, except that Blizzard likes to keep thinks neat, and even so it still doesnt really solve the problem of Terrans and Protoss being able to mine = to(or more) Zergs with less workers with their mechanics.

    Protoss already have this ability with their Obelisk, which allows Probes to mine 1 mineral more then usual, unless you want to make up a different mechanic for the Protoss, I dont think this would happen.

    make them just like the SCV? sure they are harder to kill, but I still... look at response to #2.

    This here I think would work, it been in my mind for a while now(since I saw the whole race unique resource mechanic), and I think the best way for this to work with the Zerg is to make this an ability on the Queen, maybe replace the Transfusion ability or the Razor Swarm ability(Blizz never said they got rid of it), Energy cost is subject to balance, how long it should last is subject to balance, weather it should be an upgrade(has to be so it wont be to powerful once you get a queen) on the Hatchery or the Lair is also subject to balance, but I think this would create nice Energy tension choosing between getting more resources, able to produce more units, or expanding you Creep so your units move faster. Much like how the Terrans have to choose between getting Mules, Scans, or more Supply.

    Edit: I'm sorry for quoting the person above me, but I wanted to share my thoughts on each idea that he presented.

    the whole drone increase could be made a upgrade at the lair or somewhere else so you can"t use it at first bam i win.

    Maybe it should be able to be upgraded about the time the T and P get to use their abilities?
    Maybe a few seconds or so before.

    It would be around when the Zerg the the lair, I think that's about the timing of the other races so it would probly be an upgrade at the lair what ever it turns out to be.
