Wasn't the colossus meant to be the replacment of the reaver?

The way I look at it:
    Reaver-
    worker raider with a shuttle
    can be a tank destroyer
an awesome unit to back up you're army with when faced with massive amounts of small-mediem units

    Colossus-
cliff crawling makes it ideal for base raides
    seige range is fr34king smexy!!!!

And check out the SC2 2v2 match thread for a video I found that has colossus owning with the giant army!!

in the right hands any unit could be micro'd to its maximum potential, mostly by postioning, if its by swarm, blink, cloak, warp-in, force fields, jump, burrow, psy storm, and so on. That's Starcraft.

So a slow unit with a non instant AoE and ridge climb abilities has 2 obvious weakness still, and if exploited could be killed pretty easy.

Well, we really didn't see the colossus in action being played in a 1v1 match and I'm quite sure that opting for colossi won't be as easy as it looked during Blizzcon 09 2v2 matches.

Will the reaver be back in action during single player mode? I sure hope it does. And perhaps a mission that will put to test the difference of powers between those 2 siege units.
