Is ALL you said true? TWO SECONDS? o m g!(or where you just joking?) and whats their pistol-damage by the way?
no they really take 2 seconds to build, but after you get 4 of them, the merc haven has a minute cooldown when you cant build any. i dont know about damage, didnt see a screenshot with the stats.
i think the explosive charge should be like sc vulture mines, with a limited quantity, or else it seems a little too strong..it can be used in early game when band of reapers comes from behind and throws explosives at the nexus...gg
I knew about the cooldown (of course) but not the exact time. Still, 2 secs sound incredible! You just have to build a Haven as fast as you can, press the Reaper-button 4 times and next to immediately send out em to harass! (they wont have the bombs yet, but still)
Well based on my own observation, the Reapers are very powerful units, in the Terran Dominion in Starcraft II, because of their ability to, jump an a high distance, and even they are a small units they can even kill those Immortals, even those immortals are too big for then, because the Reapers are equipt with a two pistol Gun, they can easily, skip the hardened sheild of those Immortals, well i guess the reapers are similar to the marines well, the only difference is the Reapers has a something in their back to jump, and a Two pistols and a mask thats all, and they are similar to the marines, i know that, the Reapers are the, firebat now in Starcraft Two, and i think, or based on my research, those reapers or the Reaper, are a criminal or Brutal criminal that serves the Terran Dominion.
if you have plenty of havens you would basicly "avoid" the cooldown, since you get enough reapers for the moment. One minute later, when you need more, just buy em all again.

From what Ive seen the reapers damage and health are quite low. They seem to rely a tad too heavy on their numbers and the bomb ability. They wont be effective base raiders if they cant handle even a few units at a time.
They aren´t Base raiders they are Harrassment units. Their uniqe build style is an advantage as you can get them ASAP when you notice a flaw in your enemys base defense aka when his army moves out. If he build lots of static defenses against Reapers thats an advantage to you: You didn´t build the in that case useless Reapers and the enemys Resources are taken up by said defenses.
haha hey fenix, I think i'll count the number of times you've had to post something along those lines. Even before I read this thread, I was thinking "hmmm pretty sure it's gonna get locked or something..."
starcraft 2 is going to be nothing like the first there is going to be lost of terrain imbalance making siege tanks usless
