I think they are very good. Their jetpacks and detpacks give the terrans the ability to make quick raids on enemy structures and workers. Sure they probably won't survive but that one attack can seriously cripple their entire army.

Except unlike vultures, reapers can take out buildings using their charges. Also they are more maneuverable than vultures due to their cliff jumping ability.

    Vultures would own Reapers ;]

I think the word you was looking for is mobile, not manouverable.

    no, "manoeuvrable" :)

The repaers are more mobile. And they can cowardly leave battlefield once in distress. Not like vultures.

Yes. Reapers are more mobile cuz they can pretty much go everywhere with ease, then they can use that advantage for different strategies such as ambush.
Vultures are speedy and highly dancable making them the more manouverable unit since they can beat any unit in agility since they can evade attacks while still dealing damage.

thats true but reapers could go up on a cliff and shoot down on the unsuspecting vultures, or they could go around a players defenses and plant their bombs in the middle of the supply line.
While vultures are more "danceable" IMO reapers would prove to be a more useful addition to the Terran line up of ground units

I would use the Reapers as more of a containment unit to keep an one on the enemy's expansions and to raid the main base.

The Reapers now have bonus damage vs. light, which sounds very interesting. They can counter Zealots without charge now. :D
Sounds like they are more harrass oriented now that their mines may be stronger and their regular attack does well vs. workers.

The reaper sounds like it can hold out with even the swarming zergling but i still think there on the fence between good and bad lets just put it this way i wouldnt mass them unless i'm just harrasing but it looks like u can mix them in with marines muraders and make a killing on the battle field.

I want to know if medics are back yet??

do you guys have any idea how fast or how long the cooldown is for the reapers mines? well, i think im in for the reaper now. i heard that reapers can now jump or go down a cliff even without a spotter. thats very good for raiding and scouting. not to mention if the enemy base is POORLY defended, he/she will be owned by the mines. especially if you have a handful of reapers.

yep, in the newest Q&A BLIZZARD says that reapers are a popular build due to their harrasing and the high damage of their mines.

They are good as I said below. However I hope Blizzard will modify their design I mean they should be less fat.

I personally see the Reaper like DBZ's Cell. I am talking about the last evo Cell. You know this character ? He's my favorite character.

In this pic below you see the normal Cell. At a moment He became a very fat creaturewhen he fought against Ghan. He was ugly.

i also like the reaper model but only to a point. It looks like a suit that not only can carry the jet packs, but it has a lot of armor, which i do not like as reapers arew somewhat weak. they should make them thinner

Reapers are sex in armor wearing jump packs.

    Any further questions?

Why are there two Reaper threads right next to each other?
