some like Assasin's Creed, Halo and Killzone i understand but the rest..... Come on Starcraft is waaay more anticipitated than that. Should be higher than a lowly 10

 

starcraft shouldnt realy be on the list because we all know all the good stuff is hapening at blizzcon in 3 weeks, I doubt we will see anything earth shattering at E3

 

What makes it worse is that it's not the Top 10 Games in general, which I suppose is subject to opinion (and the trolls at gametrailers might have it in for RTS, who knows), but the Top 10 most ANTICIPATED games. And there really is no opinion to be had here, countless people have been waiting a decade for a sequel to Starcraft, one of the great games of all time. A decade of anticipation! And then you get games like no.9, Drake's Fortune or whatever, scoring higher in anticipation? I've never heard of it, and I bet no-one's been looking forward to it for ten years.

So yeah, gametrailers don't have a clue, no matter how you look at it.

 

I agree with more than half of everyone here. SC2 is probably going to b just like SC just more units and such. I mean i hate to disagree, but i likes halo 2 more than starcraft, but not by much. Halo 3 vs. Starcraft 2, hmmm... Starcraft 2 because I don't have 300-400 dollars for a Xbox 360. Pc's are upgradeable and can be fixed by normal people, unless you've got some big problem. Anyway, I like RTS WAY more than FPS'. Starcraft 2 wins over Halo Wars too.
I agree with NightRapier as well, Gametrailers is completely opionated. But if it is, why Super Mario Bros. That's just sad. Well I'm off to bed considering its 3:15 where I live.

 

Its a f\ct that RTS games are always the underdogs at this kind of shit, and I do understand why 1 to 8 are on the list, only 9 is a complete mystery for me.

 

ROFL Number 10. it should be Number 4 after GTA as 3 then number 2 and 1 the same as the video.

Plus, they're all diffrent platforms so its not a fair test.

The reason for SC2 being 10th is simply due to the consoles. The next-gen consoles haven't yet (supposedly) reached their full potential yet and games like killzone 2 and the like are supposed to be pushing the consoles to their next level. That is why Drakes would have made the list although I have never heard of it. As far as RTS's go, they are generally underrated and I think this is no exception. This list is probably also biased from the point that it is most likely based on what Americans anticipate coming out which cuts out a vast amount of the SC2 fan base. Rock Band deserves to be more anticipated than Guitar Hero as its not guitar based but combines bass, drums and vocals into the same system therefore adding a lot of *new* gameplay. Assassins Creed I had never looked at before but it looks great as do all the others on the list. GTA IV is definitely anticipated, you may be bored with the series but others are not, the GTA series had 3 of their games on their highest selling games in Microsoft's press conference. I think that if this list was based on an all around the world anticipation of the titles SC2 would be in a better spot on the list however I don't think that it would go up to the top 5 (definitely would surpass Drakes, lol). I love SC, I am most definitely getting SC2 when it first comes out but I also understand that the anticipation of what games CAN become and how they will be pushing the limit is whats taking center stage at the moment.
