Sacrifice, the gameplay and the world (though the graphics are outdated now) are really breathtaking.

You got a nice taste, man. Metal Gear Solid is definately one of the greates games ever. The graphics and gameplay kind of suck, but otherwise it's just so neat. It's a shame that the MGS2 flopped because of Raiden. Snake Eater also rocked but in a completely different way. MGS4 will be an interesting release, but I will just visit my friend over a weekend and play his copy of the game. I think 750 euros for playing a game is just way too much. I would rather buy a new guitar with that money 8)

I've also loved the Resis ever since my cousin introduced me to them, and I can tell you from experience that the first one sucks compared to the others. It's a great game, but nothing compared to Resi2, 3 and 4. You should (if haven't already) try the 2nd and 3rd games as they are quite similar to the first. Four breaks the traditions and is completely different. It's extremely entertaining but I don't consider it a "real Resident Evil". It's just heaps of fun to blast zombies' heads off with a combat shotgun!

Aww cmon man, im such a hardcore RE junkie that i even liked the Outbreak games lol. ive beaten RE 1, 2, 3, 4, Outbreak1, Outbreak2, Survivor, and Dead Aim several times. I didn't bother with Survivor 2 because the first one blew so much. Dead aim was pretty lame too. It just didnt' have that RE vibe.

Metal Gear Solid, i discovered that in like 3rd grade, when i got my Playstation lol. I remember when i found the Cardboard Box, i was sooo excited lol. i played MGS1 a few times, just to get the stealth suit and bandanna. then i played MGS2, which i personally kinda liked. Although i dont think raiden should have had 4/5 the story -_-

    Ah, sorry. Couldn't conclude that.

MGS was so big thing when I was younger. It was the only thing people played and talked about. Too bad my copy had a manufacturing flaw so it couldn't scroll the credits. Never got the bandanna or stealth :-\

In MGS2 the tanker section was great, though. It really had the old touch.

its cool, i didnt really tell how much i liked RE in my previous post. That sucks that you couldnt get the bandanna or Stealth suit. The stealth suit was hilarious. Tons of fun. You can get it on MGS 2 also. If you collect all the dog tags on the tanker. I collected every dog tag on every difficulty. it was FREAKIN hard. ><

Yeah, I'm glad they put those things in the sequel also.

On the extreme too? That must've been a killer.

ugh, the hardest part of the game wasnt staying hidden, but was killing Olga... On extreme you cant shoot out the Search Light, and she uses it to blind you, she throw grenades if/when she cant see you, and when she CAN see you, it takes 2 shots to kill you. so... its pretty freakin hard lol.

Yeah, I know. Though on the European Extreme it takes only one shot to kill you. Otherwise it's the same case. It really took a couple of tries. And the light thing is just unlogical.

hmm.. maybe its one shot for mine too. dont remember, all i know is that i died constantly. The whole "shoot the light and it points directly at you" thing was a little stupid. and then when she shoots the canvas and it flys in front of her... that part was... omfg. in the easier difficulty you could just shoot the other ropes of the canvas and it would just fly away.. but not extreme lol. plus she had like perfect accuracy behind that thing...

It seems that those spetsnazs know what they are doing. So painful, yet so memorable.

yup yup. Hmm.. what other games are there? Diablo 2 is good, but im trying to think outside Blizzard.
I definitely enjoyed the Call of Duty series. WW2 games just give me that warm feeling inside when i viciously murder hundreds of Germans. OH! any of you played Company of Heroes?

i have to say final fantasy VII and VIII, metal gear 1. the experience was beyond godlike. well i dont have ps2, and im not planning to buy one right now. im saving up for ps3.

diable 2, cause its one of the hardest to beat game and there are no cheats to it. im talking about the first time i played it and the first time i beat diablo (you know wasted skill points and not so much of a uber weapons armors, and items). it was really hard, i used 3 characters randomly, just to see who goes ahead easily. i was having a hard time fighting diablo when i was using my necromancer, my best skill was bone spear.. so noob of me back then. but it was an enjoyable experience after beating diablo and seeing nightmare afterwards.

I played silent hill 2 - 4 on PS2, I say its much scarier than the RE series and is more difficult to finish, I never had the chance to play the first game of the series though. but then I mostly play fighting genres on my game console, the tekken series is one of my favorite
