I personally think that it is a CC upgrading to a Planetary Fortress. It always nagged me that extensions like the machine shop, covert ops, physics lab, etc would just appear out of no-where. Maybe they are fixing that inconsistency?

 

thats what i thought. i said that the CC could either be building or upgrading, and the crane-laser is just cosmetic.

Excuse me, look at the Carrier compared to the Battle Cruiser in SC1, then Compare the Tempest to the Battle Cruiser in SC2. You can't tell me that they now made the Tempest the exact size and made the Battle Cruiser Larger... Ask anyone they will say that the Battle Cruiser is the same size.

It helps if you remember that the Tempest is NOT the original carrier, even though it is the same concept. At some point we must recognize this and stop comparing it to the original, no matter how much we miss it :'(

L0ck and L04d - you could have worded that more delicately - the valid point of your post was lost in the dig at people who didn't like the size of the Tempest.

Prodigious - loosen up a bit; if I had felt unwelcome every time someone called me a "retard" on the internet, I wouldn't own a modem. Don't let one comment dissuade you from posting on the forums.

 

Thanx, and by the way, I think that the Tempest is a great improvement even if it looks smaller. I can't wait for the game to finally come out.

sorry, I was in a bad mood anyway, and ive noticed that this is the best forum that ive ever been to.

 

exactly. ive always felt unwelcome here even i was at my 300 plus post back then. but i kept going and did not mind what others think. and by the time i hit 500-600 i feel im very much part of the family here. there are lots of "COOLEST" and "NICEST" guy on this forum and they help me a lot about everything, about life and specially about starcraft. lol .and yes sometimes you need to fight back when the going gets tough. ;D
