Actually, teal hair doesn't look half bad. I got a buddy who's all punk like, and dyes her hair a different color every week. Last month she had it teal. Pretty cool.

Yeah, bald chicks aren't hot. I wouldn't if she was bald, cause her long hair is part of the appeal to me.

O well, about all the marvel comic movies suck, really, Fantastic Four, The Punisher, The Hulk, X-Men, Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Elektra, etc.

I guess the only movies that were watchable were the first 2 spidermans (haven't seen the third one yet) and the first Blade.

you don't want to see the third spiderman coalescence. Save yourself the agony. I know you said you think transformers will be bad but this was much much worse. Suffice it to say spiderman becomes emo for half the movie.

The emo montage was the single worst experience I have had in a movie theater. I could not slouch far enough down in my chair. Every cell in my body was cringing for that 5-10 minute segment.

As for Fantastic 4, I think I didn't mind it as much as other people because I saw it on television and didn't shell out 9.50 for a ticket. It sucked, but at least I didn't get my pants pulled down over the price to see it.

PS - wtf is with Die Hard being PG-13? It really makes me not want to see it

well R rated movies usually mean nudity and tons of cussing. So, you can have a good PG-13 movie if it's action like die hard.

no nudity and lack of excessive profanity? Pshhhhhhhhhh...*see last sentence of my previous post*

But in all seriousness, I don't feel like a Die Hard film can't really be as true to the originals if it's PG-13.

    From http://www.filmratings.com/about/content5.htm:

PG-13:"Parents Strongly Cautioned. Some Material May Be Inappropriate For Children Under 13."

A PG-13 film is one which, in the view of the Rating Board, leaps beyond the boundaries of the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, or other contents, but does not quite fit within the restricted R category. Any drug use content will initially require at least a PG-13 rating. In effect, the PG-13 cautions parents with more stringency than usual to give special attention to this film before they allow their 12-year olds and younger to attend.

If nudity is sexually oriented, the film will generally not be found in the PG-13 category. If violence is too rough or persistent, the film goes into the R (restricted) rating. A film's single use of one of the harsher sexually-derived words, though only as an expletive, shall initially require the Rating Board to issue that film at least a PG-13 rating. More than one such expletive must lead the Rating Board to issue a film an R rating, as must even one of these words used in a sexual context. These films can be rated less severely, however, if by a special vote, the Rating Board feels that a lesser rating would more responsibly reflect the opinion of American parents.

PG-13 places larger responsibilities on parents for their children's moviegoing. The voluntary rating system is not a surrogate parent, nor should it be. It cannot, and should not, insert itself in family decisions that only parents can, and should, make. Its purpose is to give prescreening advance informational warnings, so that parents can form their own judgments. PG-13 is designed to make these parental decisions easier for films between PG and R.

R:"Restricted, Under 17 Requires Accompanying Parent Or Adult Guardian."

In the opinion of the Rating Board, this film definitely contains some adult material. Parents are strongly urged to find out more about this film before they allow their children to accompany them.

An R-rated film may include hard language, or tough violence, or nudity within sensual scenes, or drug abuse or other elements, or a combination of some of the above, so that parents are counseled, in advance, to take this advisory rating very seriously. Parents must find out more about an R-rated movie before they allow their teenagers to view it.

I think it's safe to say that the Die Hard franchise is not known for its nudity and sexual scenes. That means that for the new one, they aren't cutting out sex and nudity, necessarily. Which leaves violence and profanity which are getting the chop. I don't really care about the lack of nudity/sex. You can get enough of that in any shape or form on the internet. But less swearing? Less violence? Die Hard without headshots and Bruce Willis weaving a "tapestry of obscenities" (a power level for anyone who identifies what movie that is from) is like Doom 3 with the blood turned off, or watching Casino on network television. (for those of you who don't know, the movie casino features 422 instances of the F-word and its derivatives over 178 minutes, giving you 2.37 F-words per minute)

there's a difference between suck and success

24 is a success and it has some of the worst dialogue and character development

That's the thing with comic book movies. Marvel sends out a lot more movies, but they almost always tend to be really bad (with the exceptions of Spidermans 1 & 2 and X-Men 2). While DC makes a lot less movies, but their movies tend to be very very good (Batman Begins, Superman Returns)

I hated Superman Returns, batman was good. And yea, the movies arent that good but originals are better. Like with Eragon, i think it sucked but the book was goodish.
