    its a jackal! jackal? It looks like jackal! jackal? If only those sensor towers can reveal the actual unit instead of a red exclamation mark.
    Any ways, it seem that it staple that a majority of terran arsenal consist of area of effect weaponry

    it said in the Q&A that they would put in an anit-air in. I don't see why everyone is so worried about it. It may take a few years, but blizzard will get to it eventually.

    I doubt it. They probably made its attack much stronger to compensate for the AoE or made it cheaper/faster.

    "currently reveals burrowed Zerg units." :eek: This might mean that Blizzard has already developed the other Zerg units because we only know of the Zergling. If the Zergling was the only unit, he would've just said it singular or just specifically stated "Zergling." Right?

    Might mean that the Zerg have come as far as the other factions? :p
    They haven't showed us much Zerg, but that doesn't mean that they haven't been working on them.

    Great batch anyways. Sad that they moved the Banshee's AoE to the Jackal though.

    I just noticed that they have the same function as the lurker only cheaper, faster, doesn't have to deploy as in burrow, and prety sure it's going to be a lower tier too.
    When did they say banshees were now not AOE again? I would still rather have an air to ground AOE attack then a strong dual missle. Six damage per missle seems right and about six missles per volley.

    was a good batch, except the part about the banshee losing its aoe.

    Its a swift tactical striking bomber, it SHOULD have aoe to its attacks

    I am excited, actually. That's the first question of ours that they've chosen since October. I was beginning to get suspicious ;);).

    I will continue to ask mundane and unimportant questions in order to please the Blizzard question selectors.

    its abit gay that they removed the AOE for the banshee...meh! as long as the game is balanced...

    edit: ahh ok ic. i just read the veterancy thread..i get it...yes...tahts kinda crap too...

    Decimated? Karune's six Jackals managed to kill 10% of the Marines? Two Jackals died in the process, but don't worry, they butchered those one and a half Marines! :p
    I'm annoyed that Blizzard has given Terran yet another Ground-Support unit. They already have Marauders with slowing effects and bonuses to vehicles, Siege Tanks, with their buffed Tank Mode and Siege Mode, Vikings, with their bonus against infantry, Reapers, with D8 Charges, Banshees, with its air support, and now this Jackal with a penetrating Anti-Ground attack.
    Where did it say that about the Banshee?

    i really hope they release more information on the banshee attack. Now that it lost its AoE damage will it gain more damage per missle, or attack more often?
    Other that this was a great Q&A, way better than the last one!

    Ah, k. Didn't see it there. I don't like that at all.
    The Jackal's attack just seems like mechanics for the sake of mechanics, and it's replaced the Banshees awesome area of effect attack. Terran already had a Ground-to-Ground area of effect attacker with the Marauder, and they'd also had a direct damage Air-to-Ground attacker with the Battlecruiser. Why make a unit with another Ground-to-Ground area of effect, which forces a perfectly unique unit to be made into another direct damage Air-to-Ground unit?

    in another news. is nuking inside a bunker inbalance? it sure sounds like it. lol.

    first off all, in sc1 detecting the unit was annoying enough...right guys? and now you have to destroy the bunker, plus detect ghost, then kill (cuz the ghost can probably cloak inside the bunker, or it can cloak then go inside the bunker).
    And how long will the range for the nuke be? will it be far enough s your bunker doesnt get destroyed?
    And since the ghost is more beefed up, it would be harder to kill before the nuke comes down!!!

    ahh, i need a battle.net account so i can ask karune about this...lol =.=

    I don't think that Nuking from inside a Bunker is too unfair. If they're attacking you, and you launch the Nuke, either a lot of your guys are going to get killed as well, or they'll temporarily retreat. If you use it on the offensive, you'd have to build the Bunker within Nuking range to begin with, so if they're dumb enough to let you complete a Bunker so close to their base, they deserve to get Nuked.

    ya...
    its not just nuking from inside the bunker that seems imbalanced, with medics able to heal units outside of the bunker, its much harder to kill a bunker especially in the beginning. I know there's another thread thats related to this put i've always disagreed with this ability.
    The only upside to the ghost's ability is that hopefully the nuke will damage the bunker as well because of its short range.
