PvP Void Ray counter

biggest counter against voids == pheonixes =). A mixture of zealots and pheonix can own, or at least I think so. Go pheonix and zealots, if they have stalkers, lift them up with pheonixes, and than plant zealots below them, so they wont have room for micro....than u'll dominate both land and air =).

 

I disagree with using pheonixes, you will never be able to get out enough. The situation where voids would appear is when the Protoss has turtled in. If this happens, you should be able to easily outmacro the protoss, and then of course get out enough stalkers to deal with it when it eventually comes, and yes, blink makes it much more effective.

So yes, when your opponent turtles, contain them and outmacro, and its an easy win.

 

Pheonix are more of a harrass unit imo. Mass pheonix wont hold up to mass rays. Stalkers with blink would be most effective.

 

You really need to out macro them. If you see them going VR make sure you upgrade your stalkers and everytime you have enought min's to makes some do. Keep your money low and make units as mucha s possible.

 

Phoenixes are quite nice in PvP in general(well, more than nice, tbh) so if you get to scout a stargate early, you can just respond with a stargate yourself(or two, depending on bases) and chronoboost phoenixes out...
