    Yeah, i'm sure it's going to be one of those things like going against a protoss playing in SC1 and their psi storm. You gotta make sure you keep your units from clumping up. Against a MS you're going to want to be on your toes 100%.

    About formations, you think they will include a formation system like in AoE?

    I wouldn't be surprised. I hated the line that the units moved in during games in SC1. They were like freakin' lemmings.

    Well the pathing in WC3 is much better than in SC and SC2 will probably be a big improvement on WC3.

    why don't you make the new mineral ground colored, and gets a random spawn every game, so not only would it be impossible to plan for, it would be very dificult to spot. And then you could make something which is otherwise useless ( i am thinking weather machine but more expensive) and it could see them. That would be pretty annoying i think :)

    hmm... adding a third resource would be interesting, but if it was used to buy the super-units/abilities, the game would become a non-stop fight over that third resource. It should be used for many units, but in little amounts. Such as zerglings-0, Hydralisks-2, Ultralisks-5, Zerg Super Unit-15, etc. This would basically add another thing one has to continuously check throughout the game. Do i have enough (thirdresourcenamehere)? Although, if over-priced with this third resource, battles would become either fewer and/or smaller, for lack of units. I doubt they would had a third (excuse me, fourth) resource because they already have a third resource: the time it takes to build it.

    wouldnt the third resource be food supply?

    food supply is maxed... i wouldnt say a resuorce can be maxed... you can have infinite resources, but once you reach the unit cap, ur done.

    but you cannot build units if you dont have supplies/control/psi, and you cant build units without minerals and gas, with the exception of the overlord, which doesnt need food, and units that dont need gas. therefore, its a resource.

    ya but a resource isn't maxed... i mean there might be a limited amount of minerals on the map, but you can always build more food supply if a source dies. you cant build more minerals.

    mothership is a bad idea, theyre going too far into screwing with the original sc formula. it looks like theyre gonna pull another wc3 on us boyz >_<

    yer i just thought of this. If a mothership moves over the enemy units and does the time bomb ability does it make the enemys immobile while the time bomb is in effect ???

    Please tell me :good: :thumbup: it would be good to know 8)

    i doubt it. i think their movement is slowed down. the gameplay demo doesn't show units inside the timebomb range

    ive also wondered- if the mothership uses time bomb over one of its own structures, would it protect the structure? and could this be applied to units?
