Protoss: Mass stalkers

I could of added Phoenix as the specialized unit against massed but, I'm pretty sure it will be easier to move the Mutalisks from the Overlord abilities since the Phoenix need to be in correct formation; it would take a lot of micro skill it seems to effectivly kill a whole Mutalisk mass like the video if they were actually trying to outmanouver the Phoenix.

On another note, the tables may be turned to the Zerg's favour since there are not many direct pwntage!1!!! counters for Protoss against Zerg. As even the mighty Colossus can get owned by spammable Zerglings transforming into Banelings.
Mothership will be the hardest for Zerg to kill I'm guessing.

 

I'm going to love the phoenix because I'm tired of losing on b-net because our opponents mass about 50+ guardians and devourers each.

Overloads would definately hit thier sc2 counterparts, unless they are given more speed to escape. However, I bet that they will have the same speed as the current ones.

 

Of course they will hit, but as you saw in the video they have to be in the correct position for the ability to effectivly kill a mass. And we all know Mutalisks are pretty quick.

 

But if you only overload 1-2 out of 10,you should be able to hold the Mutalisks back, or even kill a few. So the phoenix is good for hunting overlords, and defending from Mutalisks harassment, and kill workers (it has a ground attack right?).

 

Yes it does, however, the overload only attacks air units.

 

Lol any small air unit was good for hunting Overlords. But I don't think it will be good harrasment as it fires it's first shot, has a small delay then fires a volly of shots numbering around 3-4, which would be too slow to harass.
