Predator Scrapped!

cool idea, but its hard to imagine what would it look like

 

*cough* *cough* why does remind me of the phase ability?
i no that their trying to further distinguish the races but seriously...

this is different from the toss because it can only produce air units of which most are costly and take a long (er) time to build, especially with the terran and the BC, valk (the most expensive AA), the science vessel (way overpriced for my uses), and the dropship (that costs as much as a muta!) (i dont know about the vikings stats and i no that the valk is not in)

how is this imba? the toss can flippin make armies wherever they want... (using ground units) in a much shorter time period!

thoughts on this?

 

That why you have radar towers, once you have one, it really hard for the enemy to teleport behind your base and not notice

 

I think the phase prism works the same way as dropships. You turn your units into phase power and "download" them into the phase prism, which has a maximum carry capacity. THen you can "upload" them back into material form anywhere your prism can get to. I don't think the prism creates units, its just a new kind of transport the toss can use.

 

Actually, it is both. It can transport units, and by deploying its power field, upgraded gateways can create units there, inside the power field.

 

ok, so an upgrade is needed.

this wil be an excellent transport/unit maker. Can't wait to try it out for myself.

I still liked the idea of the predator. Too bad it was scrapped. Can't wait to see what the new factory unit will be.

 

l personally think l won't miss the Predator just as l don't miss the Stasis Orb. l never saw any of them in action.

 

Just because they were never seen in action, doesn't mean they can't be missed. I was looking forward to the predator, as my units would actually be able to live a little longer.

 

BRING BACK THE PREDATOR. terran needs a sleek fast laser blaster space fighters like the predator.

and it would be lame if viking was the terran main air to air units.

and change the pistols of the reapers to something else. something new powerful and HIGH TECH. 2400plus years and terran still uses nostalgic primitive weapons like pistols just to make them look badass. come on, there are more practical and badass weapons that can be invented.

think blizzard think.

 

lol, I do think they need a better weapon than the pistols and terran does need something to help their air units live longer

 

I dont understand why blizzard would of scrapped this unit. the inside game testered must of hated it. Or perhaps it's simply not good enough. Either way i trust blizzards judgement on this. I personaly think they wont take this unit out with out having a replacement for it. A unit idea they had hidden away that we havent seen yet and there not telling us about. and that gose for the moved up viking, Theres a spot at the factory too. thats space for 2 new units in the terran aray of units.

 

JUST BRING BACK THE PREDATOR.. or replace it with something else.

 

Maybe the Predator will be left for the Expansion pack?

I think it was too specialized. It was only useful for its single ability, but wasn't good for much of anything else.

 

why?

it will be a UED unit? UED will have gundam with them.

 

I heard/saw somewhere that the Valkyrie was in the early stages of SC1. Later on, it became a unit in BW. That could happen to the Predator too.
