The Terran Predator looks very aggressive and I wonder how it will work in Intercept mode.

 

shut downs or shoots incoming attacks (missiles) with its uber fast laser attack in AOE.

 

At least you don't need that many Predators then. I see them as a defensive unit that would work better in enemy base infiltration. Put them and Vikings together, and Island games are no longer the Turret-terror they were: Predators halt the incoming missiles until the Vikings get there and land.

Don't think it's strategy concept is a ripoff of anything we've seen so far. Even if we can compare it's looks to other things...

in one of the cut scenes in brood war there is a ghost that looks exactly like the foot soldier from starship troopers, the guy with the huge teeth and yellow flattop.

 

That was on purpose. The game was inspried by Aliens and thr Starship Toopers book. Since the movie and SC have a common background they are bound to look similar.

 

And what about the zealot and the dragoon? Or the prtotoss race overall (excluding reaver -_-')...
