Well for me the gameplay was
SP 6-7 hours
Developer commentary 3 hours
Coop 6-7 hours.

Plus they added the hat and store stuff so hopefully we'll see more content down the track.

Even though I spent more time on MW2 (SP was 3 hours lol) I really regretted buying it but with portal I thought it was really really worth it and it'll be one of those games I always remember.

I don't expect a new engine with every game I buy. The source engine though is looking really good still which surprised me, Episode three will look nothing like Half Life 2.

If they'd stuck in every test chamber they could think of and doubled the length of the game I'd like it alot less...yes you can argue that they could've doubled the length of the script and rewritten the engine and made the game better...but there isn't any glaring way in which it could've been improved and i was in no way left unsatisfied. Now i'm arguing like a spurned lover lol.

 

At the current price I'd play it less time than it takes me to earn the money for it. -.-

ED@Higgs below. I used 38 SE for comparison not 50

 

First of all it's 38 euro, not 50. It took me 6-7 hours to get through SP and 5 hours for the coop. With a bit more immersion and/or commentaries I can easily get above 15 hours (and let's not forget that not everyone is so incredibly intelligent like me and cannot solve the puzzles so quickly). 15 hours of pure, 100% awesome fun is well worth it when I compare it to other games which might have few more hours but are on average way inferior to Portal 2.
And what marinefreak said: I will remember Portal 2 as one of the 'legendary' games. Even if it was only +-15 hours. I couldnt really give a damn about the 25-30 hours I spent playing MW.

They are both great but I think Still Alive had a greater impact.
