Poll: Which race will you play as your main in SC2?

I'm going to go with Terrans, It seems they might have some real cool things, but you never know. They might become the suckish race ( zerg takes 2nd of course )

 

i think the terrans are the best and always will be its almost impossible to beat massed tanks and gols and SC1 and in SC2 tanks, rines and then reapers on the flank. i cannot wait to try that out

 

Well, the terrans are a pretty strong race, but imagine about 10 immortals walking towards your tanks, and then tonns of dark templars. They will own that little outpost of the terrans in seconds. All the immortals have to do is take the attention of the tanks. No one will bother with the invisible dark templars.

 

good point. but that shows how versitile this game is because there is a way to counter everything u just have to think

 

Yep, thats why starcraft 2 will be one of the best game i have ever seen. It has a counter to every single unit.

The Terrans!
Their first unit is the marine, that can attack ground and air. Their vehicles are strong and they can use a powerful weapon: a nuclear bomb that makes amazing damage.

Also because they are humans. The second option could be the Protoss and the las one, the zerg.

 

Protoss or Zerg... I really want to try out the whole warp-in mechanic, and roaches look wicked cool. Terrans don't have anything that strike me as interesting, except maybe using the nighthawk to mass autoturrets.

 

I will try to find a strategy for every race.

I am most interested in Terran though, I was never able to come up with a solid Terran technique in the 9 years that I played the game.

 

I think its all about the terran like ive said 4 times before

 

im not really loyal to any race but i think i like Terran the best but im open to new ones

 

I've always love all three races...and then out of nowhere I fell in love with the Protoss. When I left Battle.net for a while I practiced from time to time with all the races so when i decided to come back that I would be able to get some more whens under my belt, and in doing so I lost my love for the Protoss and fell in love with the Zerg....Come to think of it when I first started playing SC all I wanted to play as was the Terrans, so I love all three of them and at one point and time all three of them had their time as my favorite....But as I was saying earlier, the Zerg....

The Terran. Because I started to know Starcraft thanks to the Terran.

 

Terran has always been my favorite.

 

Terran are my favorite again due to the Hunter seekers, better tanks, thors, Reaper D-4 charges and marauders!

All of them make big explosions

And marines are definitely the coolest of the tier 1 units.

 

Not bad it looks pretty even, even though its a sample of the population.
