they didnt even change zerg besides banelings so i dont expect to so many players goin to play as them.................SC2 is going to be a terran against protoss game

 

I don't understand why people like to choose race.

I mean, looking at it logically and from a strategic view point, the one that chooses random side vs one that chooses anything but random, has a slight advantage, because theres only so many different builds and tactics that one side can do.

being random you have to be faster and many times smarter at the game because you have no idea what you will get until it starts.

But theres only 3 Sides in Sc2, so theres less to know in comparison to games like STA2 or Zero hour in (And probably alot more games than I can think of atm) which there are 6 or more different "sides"

 

I always choose a race because I cant play as terran worth beans. I can never play offencively with them while Im decent with both protoss and zerg.

Zerg is my best race and my favorite in the game.

Idk i just did something I made a Hydra, Zergling, Cerbrate and a Overlord with the keys tried puting it into my signature but when I previewed it, it was messed up.

Zerg is my worst race for 1v1. I like using toss best in SC1.

I'm going to use zerg first in SC2 beasue they interest me the most out of each race.

 

i realy like protoss so i think i would go with that.

Honestly, I still have no idea what race I want to play and probably won't until the game actually comes out and I'm able to find which of the three best suits my play-style. I usually just select a race that looks the most stylish to me but recently that has been changing as I'd rather play a race that finds my play style and is funner to play even if I don't think they look the coolest kind of mentality lately.

I mean all of the races have their strengths and weaknesses and none is nesscarliy better than the other if Blizzard does their job right. I mean you really just have to actually sit down and play it to find, because you may think one thing and then when you actually try it out think and feel another.

I preferred Protoss and Terran in SC1, although I occasionally enjoyed massed units of Zerg. I will definitely try Zerg because I think their mechanics will give them such a different feel this time around. My heart has always been with the Terran/Toss, though.

 

@Cameronielsen, I agree with preferring Protoss and Terran, but I rather Protoss mainly just for the Photon Cannons, being able to attack air+ground, Carriers for the amount of firepower and Arbiters for the cloaking of units. The Terran are my second favourite but mainly just for Siege Tanks and Ghosts+Nukes. But Protoss FTW!! They look sooooo cool in all the vids especially with Warp-In and the new units such as the Mothership(FTW!). I am a Protoss fanatic if you hadnt noticed!

 

Protoss, because it's the only race i really can play with. Second i would play with terran

 

Zerg 1st, 2nd, 3rd and pretty much up to 100th then Terran, and I found that I suck a protoss, really bad.

 

Protos for sure. I was thinking of Terrans, but after seeing that the Terrans would be demolished by a good attack by the Protoss.

For some reason i really hate terrans. i guess im not really noob with them but i hate vs-ing them and playing as terran too. for sum reason i always get my ass whupped by masses of vultures tanks and gols. this basically covers anti air and ground. Comsat station is good detection. and workers have highest worker hp, making it harder to kill terran economy. I hate terrans T.T

Well, I do like the terrans, and usually in the original starcraft i played the terrans, but in starcraft 2, I am sure that the protoss are the best race.
