Poll: Which race will you play as your main in SC2?

ok i choose terran for their advantages and that i understand them better then any other race....

 

Yeah,1 question. WHERE IS THE DARK ARCHON ><?

 

he is not going to be in SC2, they were planning to merge the archons together so you only need to merge any 2 templars together to form an archon that had the feedback ability, but they cut the ability so no signs of dark archon being in the game

 

i know that,i heard about the combine of 2 high templars being the archon,but in SC2 not only 2 high templars become archon,even 2 Dark Templars combine and become the Twilight Archon instead of Dark Archon plus 1 High Templar and 1 Dark Templar still becomes the Twilight Archon

 

Yeah thats why I was so sad about for my cotton balls for being left behind with other units who had no progressive upgrade after four years of slumbering and Racial unification. It just turned out to be the same plain Archon which was just an emergency unit after you have casted your storms lol..

I really wish that they can do something surprising with the unit once it is launched ^_^ but still it is great to see that you can now make an archon that can always attack despite of which templar types you form it with. Now all thats left is for it to possess some psychic ability that can serve better purpose for its glory ^_^

 

Actually its 8 years after Brood War and in the 4th year bf SC2,.....not sure u read about the Dark Templar Saga novels though

And I own the Dark Templar novels (when the hell is that damn 3rd coming out?) but I don't recall the number changing.

 

The 3rd and last novel will be late around 2008.The author still got alot to go since i think Ulzeraj made it through the warp gate and trying to destroy Shakuras.Though Zeratul is still a kickass Dark Templar manage to stop him. (this is a spoiler xD)

 

The way book 2 ended I want the 3rd to start out with something funny.
Dark Super Archons are serious business.

So I'm playing Terran in SC2.

I'm gonna stay loyal to my terrans. The reapers really help my style of play too.

Actually, an official press release said May 2010 .. I'm assuming they meant 2009, and that this book will come in May 2009 ... Atleast, we have "I, Mengsk" (hopefully) in December ..

Terran, first race i ever played in starcraft, that and they remind me of home. red necks all the way!

 

Probably Protoss. But with a little terran though. I like those 2 races a lot. And really hardly ever use the zerg. Apart from single player.

 

im going to play Zerg. i have always liked how they play and their units.

ill play all three but i think as what my starcraft history was, i leaned toward the zarg race more.

Not too surprising. I saw and played a little SC2 at PAX recently. Most people I saw playing were using the Protoss. It was pretty funny how some people were playing like they had all the time in the world for the skirmish, but there was a 20 minute timer. Several people didn't realize how to use certain mechanics, such as using the terrain to one's advantage. One player's protoss were getting decimated so he started running away with his Colossus on the same terrain the enemy Zerglings were on rather than walking up to higher ground.

I played as the day was wrapping up so I zerg rushed ftw to give another player a chance to play before they packed up.

 

I haven't read any but the original StarCraft novels because I felt they distorted and confused the storyline more than helped to clarify anything.

Terran, but I don't know it might change. I loved microing out zerglings and zealots with vultures >.<.
Maybe I could do some fun things with reapers now

 

Damn, can't change votes any more. I was originally Terran but after all their mix up and uncertainty I went to Protoss, who were just a really awesome and solid team. Funny considering my favourite team in StarCraft1 was Zerg, though I seemed to be best at Terran.

If I could switch, I'd probably consider Terran again, though Protoss and Zerg would still be amazingly close behind. It's too close to tell really.
