Poll: Which race will you play as your main in SC2?

Hmm... As inn StarCraft, I'm gona play most with Terran I think...
But the races in StarCraft 2 I'm gona play with in order is:

1. Protoss
2. Zerg
3. Terran

Prostoss looks easiest to play, and ARE easy to play when you know them...
Zerg looks fun to play anyway, just look at them!
As the race I will play the most, I will play them last...

 

How do you know that Protoss will be the easiest to play? Any team could be and it would also depend on everyone's play style.

 

You could say the Protoss tend to be easier for people new to the game because with their higher HP values they are more forgiving of mistakes, also their high unit cost is more forgiving to players that can't constantly keep speninding their mineral during combat, finally since you tend to always be dealing with smaller amounts of units Protoss units tend to be easier to control because you don't need to do as much multitasking as you would with larger armies.

Do I nesseccarly agree with the above of of thinking not really, but it does make sense at the begginer level.

Personally I just love technology and using capital units so the Protoss converted me a long time ago and that hasn't changed.

 

See i would want to play to play protoss only if their base defense get better. in the original the turrets suck butt. So i have played terran from there on. So i will play either. I am excited for both. and well zerg just suck.

 

As little of a comment you think that is, you might get powered down for it because the Zerg fans are just that rabid.

Just make indirect comments. Like acknowledge the Zerg aren't bad, but your master race is better.

So uh Zerg. Where are your giant fleet cruisers?

Haha! That made me laugh so hard. Absolute snappage. No-one can pay the Zerg out too hard because the Zerg can basically steal anything that the other teams have.

 

Hmmm. If you Corrupted an air form Viking, could you take control of it and transform it into it's ground form?

I doubt it. From the gameplay video, it looked like the player had no control over the corrupted units, as they were all stationary. They'll act more or less as stationary turrets.

 

Damn. That'd be something funny to try VS a computer.

 

If they were able to transform Corrupted Vikings back into Ground Form, all the Zerg appendages and tendrils would get squished in all the cogs and other moving parts, like a ferret caught in a recliner.

 

Sounds painful.

Ill play zerg, then protoss, then terran. I never liked the terran. The zerg were always my best race to micro, though it's still bad compared to what you see on replays.

 

Terran.. They were my main race in SC 1, but now I am trying to learn Zerg I come out with them pretty good.

 

What means to micro? Ive watched pro gaming and the commentators are saying like: cheesy, micro and so on... I'm from Norway, can someone explain?

 

micro is focussing your control on single units, making them more effective, instead of groups(macro), making them more numerous
