Poll: Which race will you play as your main in SC2?

All having it on a large scale would do is make the worst of the worst, even worse. If someone manages to get the better of them and they're really on the back foot, even if they might usually have a chance of recovering, their units would start leaving.
Also, you didn't address the issue of any disgracing unit getting shot by the others.

 

Behemoth the only way moral could work is if units had increased moral when in the vicinity of certain units or heros which would then increase accuracy or damage or something like that. If someone makes bad choices tactically then they will lose, no need to speed up the process.

 

There is only one game I play which involves moral. It's Dawn of War. In that, squads have a morale bar, kinda like another health bar. If the squad was being beaten in combat, then their morale would break. When it broke, they do less damage, take more damage and run a lot faster. There are several abilities for all the different teams to help deal with broken squads, and there are several different abilities to help break enemy squads. All teams can choose to give their units weapons that are designed to break morale. In Dawn of War, morale works perfectly, but only because that is what the game is based around. StarCraft is not supposed to be based around breaking and restoring squadron's morale, mainly because they have individual units instead of squads. It works in some games, but it wouldn't work at all in StarCraft2.

 

To be honest. I'm forever trapped into playing Zerg. I played protoss after I was totally disgusted with how much I played Zerg. They are my true love.

The best way I think would be to just wait for the game to come out and play through the campaign. You'll have clear understanding which race is better for you. In other words go for toss ;p

 

And the Terrans ties it up with the Protoss.

I never knew Terrans would be soo popular. I thought most ppl stray away from them because they are too ordinary. But I guess I was wrong about it. Terrans in SC2 do seem much cooler then the other human races from other games. Their mechs (especially the Thors and Vikings) look very kick-ass.

But their mechs are no match against the all mighty Protoss.
All the Terran mechs are 2 legs. (Thor, Vikings, Marauders).

Protoss mechs have 4 legs. (Stalkers, Immortals, Colossus).

They're humans yeah (also the reason why my dad never plays Orcs, Night Elves, or Undead in WC3) but they're futuristic humans.
And who here has never dreamed of piloting a mechanical death machine?

 

Forget about using a death machine, I always prefered to send masses of small units into battle and watch them fight to the death.

i think im gonna go protoss, i like how the race looks and how you play them, lesser and more powerful units, it match my playing style more (go big or go home)
