Poll: Content looking forward to most?

Wings of Liberty will have fewer units than Warcraft III, but by the time Legacy of the Void comes out, that may no longer be the case.

 

Thus do you think there will be new units once Heart of the Swarm comes out and again more once Legacy of the Void too ?

 

There may well be; Blizzard hasn't made a final decision on that.

However, there will no doubt be lots of NPC units in the two expansions. For instance, there might not be protoss civilians in Wings of Liberty, but I just can't picture Legacy of the Void without them. (Now, how do you deal with dark templar civilians?)

I prefer the solo campaign, sure. But once I get bored of this one I'll play the UMS maps. Just hope that they will not take so long to create maps.

Hope that the solo campign does not give static missions. You start, you have your base, some units, and then .... destroy the enemy base(s). NO ! I hope it will be like the mission in BW, Emperor's Flight when the valkiries automatically attacked the mutalisks and that your flying structures were flying alone, without oredering them to move.

 

Are you serious? Almost every interview and video lately had something about the missions in them. After seeing those, how can you even think there is a chance that most missions will be "search and destroy"? I've never seen such diversity.

However, online matches won't chance much. I guess you'll be playing a lot of custom maps, eh?

 

If I insist too much on this question it is because I am playing the original Starcraft now (with the graphic bug I meet, and that you know). All the bad stuff I see I report here, maybe again, and surely again.

The question about the missions diversity is important to me. You are right, we've seen very different stuff now in the campign, and I'm very glad for this. But ... I insist again.

Second thing to say : THE SCV AUTO REPAIR. I have now an army of Tanks and Valkyries. They got damages everytime. But I have always to order my SCVs to repair them. They can't make like the Medic who automatically heal the soldiers. There should be an option of auto repai for the SCV.
Or I don't know to macro this unit ?

 

@ Sogeking, you should try some of the Terran Campaign missions that I have remade for SC1. I've added more diversity and made them somewhat harder! (they are also less static).

I voted for the map editor...simply because it sets no limits to what the user can do....on the other hand...i love starcraft lore and story so long story short the map editor-single player campaign scale is on a 50-50 for me:yes:

You can verify it in a recent G-star video Battling Prottos against terran. In which terran player(yeon ho lee)
has enabled auto repair and right clicked about 5 svcs in two thors.

StarCraft II will have a better AMM, and you can't keep making new accounts for smurfing, either. (There's supposed to be 1-3 accounts per DVD key.)
