I agree why not make them as mines when they burrow it would be a effective counterattack if the opponent come charging at your base

I don't like this idea because the Zerg would be able to dispose of several units too quickly like the spider mine. Zerg is about swarms. The mines would only let a few Banelings be burrowed at once because of the splash destroying everything if one is not too careful.

And if Zerg have Banelings, what will happen to the Infested Terran? I would like the idea of a Zergling evolving into a four-armed, insane, man-killing and very deadly reptilian dog. I think I will call it the Redeemer. I will follow its enemy to death...

I thought the Infested Terrans were replaced with the Succubus. in any case the concept in nice but it can be done with popping them up right under your foes feet.

I voted no because I don't see it being needed since you could just unburrow and the things are most likely going to blow up before the enemy can kill them anyway. I just hope that glitch where you could use an arbiter to make a burrowable unit permenantly invisible is still in the game. Invisible banelings ftw. Not really all that useful in an actual game but it would make your opponent go WTF???

I love it. It makes complete sense. The Zerg can burrow, and the Baneling can explode. Perfect combination. An autocast ability for blowing up would be great for them. Plus, we don't even need to worry about them being too much like spider mines since the spider mines aren't even in the game anymore.

Ugh! Am I the only person who heard the news from Blizzard stating that the Succubus was a fake rumor?? It is. Someone made it up.

I hope they can. It would make no sense for them not to.

I am betting they can't burrow for the same reason an ultra can't burrow. A surprise with that much kick is imbalanced
