Pokemon Black/White...

So I guess I'm in minority when I say that I like the design for most of the gen V pokemon. I feel the gen III had the worst, I usually used gen I or II pokemon in my ruby version.

 

I actually liked many of the gen III designs over gen II designs. Gen II always felt like me as trying to copy gen I instead of thinking up something. Gen III felt more like the mons came from a more tropical part in the world and I liked em for that. Gen IV blew though, I hope we can all agree on that.

 

I'm just nostalgic like that, I guess. :/

 

After playing through Black, I have to say, the elite four music in gen V beats all the other versions.

The first time you fight, they are in the low 50s. The next time you fight them, they are in the mid 70s. Still haven't managed to beat them a second time yet, but that's because I'm only lvls 55-57.

My party did change a lot from my original plan, as I use Galvantula, Serperior, Reshiram, Gothitelle, Darmanitan, and Simipour.

So.

Where in the hell do I level? I beat N and Ghetsis, all my pokemans are level 45-50, with my highest being 52 (Haxorus, the name is fitting. Dragon Fang held, Swords Dance>Dragon Claw=Hax. One shotted the Elite 4). That said, all the trainers in the new areas have either level 65 pokemans or if they're lower level, they're first in the evolution chain and give like 600 EXP.

I trained in the tall grass on the new routes.

The pokemon in the tall grass are ~lvl55, and the random wild double battles are really good for exp.

I've gone throgh the routes and I'm lvl 58-59 now.

Blagh, I can't afford any of those silly nintendoo devices, so I cannot play this game. Any fun new elements introduced?



I think I'm gonna think up gameplay elements for if pokemon games ever slighly change formula.

 

TM's are unlimited, that is a HUGE one.
