Too much of a good guy? Look into his work Z
    Movie - Character
    JFK - Lee Harvey Oswald
    Dracula - Dracula
    Léon: The Professional - Stansfield
The Scarlet Letter - Rev. Arthur Dimmesdale
The Fifth Element - Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg
    Hannibal - Mason Verger
Beat the Devil - The Devil

He is actually more well known for doing intense/torn characters and bad guys. he has only recently started doing more good-guy roles

Actually, it was a badass German Sniper. :) Barry Pepper is my hero. If he could put on a few pounds and smoke cigars enough to deepen his voice (or just use a synthesizer) I would love to see him as Tychus. But wait, it's so obvious that I didn't even realize it....he'd be an awesome ghost!

Jason Statham (pronounced STAY-thum) is the guy from The Transporter.

I think Scarlett Johansson would be a good fit, but her face seems a little chubbier than Nova's (I'm just pointing it out - I would not be so averse to seeing her in full skin-tight ghost attire) so I think I'd go for Jessica Alba.

yeah scarlett has a bigger, more over-the-top bust size though, so it really depends on where you allegiances lie in the "what physical traits I like in a woman" argument
