Overmind ressurection

She seemed content to lord over the Korprulu sector for the time being and just crush anyone who came up against her. Perhaps the start of SC2 is a group rising up against Kerrigan.

 

Maybe. But if i know Kerrigan correct (which i actually don't, but f**k it i like to use that metaphor ) she would completely and utterly rape anyone she suspected powerful enough to de-seat her.
I know it's a far fetched theory, and most likely one that's not going to happen, but perhaps Duran and his homies do a drive-by on her main cluster, weakening her enough for the major Korprulu parties to rise up and whoop up some serious chaos on her forces.

Just a theory likely to NOT happen.

 

Most (all) theories about storyline are not going to happen.
That being said. Daggoth comes back and pummels Kerrigan with a renegade zerg swarm.

 

Well, i don't wanna burst your bubble or anything (... lol, subconcious paladin reference? ) but Daggoth is dead... he kinda was the 2nd Overmind together with some unnamed Cerebrates and got raped in the end by Zer-Ker Supercombo Darknesstemplarpowerstrike!!11.
okay just Zeratul on the order of Kerrigan. Anyways, he's dead.

Maybe the Jormungand sub-Cerebrate (player) will finally kick Kerrigan in that infested behind she possess and seize the Swarm for his/herself. Maybe.

 

i think kerrigan will be the over mind who leads the zerg....and i guess she will infest one of terran's heros or protoss hero and he will take her place where she was in sc1...what do u think??

 

Nah that would be asking to be betrayed. I think she wants her back free for the moment until she finds someone she can either trust or fully manipulate. Or she will just rule alone forever... (not much to rule really)

 

Daggoth may have just "birthed" the overmind rather than evolving into it.

 

Well Blizzard was very specific that Daggoth and some random Cerebrates melded together into the 2nd Overmind. Even if i was wrong he'd surely be dead by now in any case anyway considering that Kerrigan is the vile spawn-of-hell that she is... /spit.

 

the overmind has to come back cuz hes freakin sweet and even raps if you type "radio free zerg" in on zerg single player

and Tiamat is named after the Babylonian creator goddess that raised a demonic army to battle the other gods after something happened that she didn't like

 

Yeah, and her name was used for the five-headed dragon queen of the chromatic dragons in D&D. And the dragon-queen in that story with Raistil Majere (w/e it's called, can't remember...) too.

Actually she has kind of elevated herself to a position where more or less anyone can get a whack at her, so she can't be that lazy or else she'd have a dagger in her back in like 2 days.
I always speculated after BW that she'd go busy looking for Duran, i mean he was her loyal side-kick and he just disappeared. She ought to know where he went or she'd just be forced to assume that yet another, "unknown" faction is out there to threat her position (which we know that she has).

 

You know, I think Kerrigan will function as the overmind, and control most of the Zerg swarms.

 

She is surrounded by Zerg that follow her will. She can't have a dagger in her back as only protoss or humans would do this and they wouldn't be able to get near her.

And remember her last line something like "and not all your little spaceships or men will be able to stop me"
Pretty cocky.

 

You see, at this point... I'm pretty much the Queen Bitch of the Universe. And not all of your little soldiers or space ships will stand in my way again.
