overlords changed to a building???

    or how bout this? the overlord can be a unit and have a choice to become a structure (like the terran liftoff and land for mobile buildings)

    It will prevent air to air harrasment and allows them to counter their slow speed with an option so better for the zerg player eh?

    And maybe they actually become a nydus spawning place... Maybe that was the idea of Blizzard, eh?
    We shall never know... until the game is released. :p

    What would be cool is if overlords could throw-up creep that lasted for say 1 minute so at the start of a Zerg v Terran game you take ur overlord and uh.. puke in his chokepoint so he cant build anything there, then you could put a sunken colonie in his base :good:

    yea i like DXUN's idea

    one drawback to the zerg was the creep

    u had to build a new hatchery or build colonies over and over to block a chokepoint

    overlord is a must

    no overlord means that starcraft will be unbalanced

    good poiont griz,

    maybe it wouldnt be the overlord but some other higher tier unit

    or maybe scrap the idea all together

    I think it be cool if the overlord could morph into some type of command building....like give boost to attack dmg (sends out some type of message that sends zerglings and hydras into a fury). the command building (may have the image of like a heart or something...something crazy and alive) . it could have other abilities such as only medics (or something nuts in the terran arsenal) or DTs (including the stalker?) can kill it (remember cryslis). but every zerg unit can kill it. some wierd twist like that

    or maybe it should stay as an overlord and have that boost attack dmg ability.

    going to have to ask you what you mean by a buffer. It would be cool if it could give buffs if thats what you mean? Overlord is suppose to have some type of psy power over its minions. *shrugs*

    i like how in starcraft all 3 races are unique

    terran and protossboth have stationary building supply/psi

    i like the overlord as a unit

    I believe that the zerg are being kept under wraps and must still be going throught the developmental stage where tons of units and ideas are being constantly discussed. (nooooo zerg at blizzcon :upset: )

    to answer ur question: no i believe that there is no zerg unit information other than the zergling baneling and nydus worm

    like pretty much every1 else here i think they should be kept as a unit if they didnt then there goes one of the things that makes the zerg uniqe also i like them wen i play the zerg the provide all sorts of services like being a scout so u can know more at the start of the game and also if i ever play the zerg wen im bout to make a big attack i take an extra overlord with me so those dark templar dont destroy my entire armie lol

    overlords are cool, they shouldn't be removed, it's an early scout, supply, transport and detect. so many uses that makes overlord the best

    i think blizz should keep the overlords as it is
    i'm proud what the overlord looks like anyway

    Maybe they could add an attack to the overlord, or maybe they can make it able to use something like the "recall" ability of the arbiter...

    I like the option of the overlord turning into a building (so it can escape anti-air units)

    No recall, Please. We don't know if the toss got it, so why switch it to zerg? D:
    Besides, they already have mass overlords so they dont need recalls..

    Anyhoo, keep the overlord a disgusting flying elephant and everyone will be happy. Maybe make it land... and become a sunken or something?

    Hmmm.. for me if the Overlords will be changed to a building much better because when im playing Zerg in Starcraft 1 Once your over lords multiply they are useless..... except for DETECTING AND TRANSPORTING that is my opinion... :)
