I feel like making the game more like sc1 just defeats the purpose of making sc2. Also, there are only 2 autocast abilities I have seen so far, Heal (which was autocast in sc1) and Charge, which would be pointless if it wasnt autocast. Basically how I see it is that only 4 things would change if they had a difficulty setting.
    1. No more waypoints to minerals
    2. No shift ability
    3. You wouldnt be able to group up buildings
    4. No alt ability
So eliminating these things just makes it into an sc1 expansion pack, but if they keep these things in for everyone this just makes the game more strategy and unit micro based, which imo is much more entertaining.

I agree. I think we should be eliminating the more tedious parts of the game.

I've heard that we're also starting with 6 workers, which makes the whole mineral "split" thing a bit too difficult to actually pull off.... which means, eliminate it.

Now we're going to be focusing on the efficient production and use of units. I'm glad for the changes and I think everyone should be as well. Insisting on remaining with the same interface as SC1 is simply going to leave us in the crapper with the same game and different graphics. Maybe a few balancing changes, but... you get the overall idea.
