I like the shield, the bayonet seems unnecessary. I hope they change the zergling model, I think its really ugly right now, it looked better in SC1.

 

The marine design must be faithful toward the marine in the cinematic. The marine has a new rectangular gun, without bayonet, and he has no shield.

And why did Blizzard decide to bring back the firebat ? Well, if he comes back it will always be a fifth infantry unit.
