Noob Tournament

yeah how are we determining n00b status?

 

so is my match the only match that has been played so far? lol

 

Due to the heat lately, I can't play so I concede.

 

Sadly...I think so.. it's not looking good.. but it's ok... you know what they say: You cant learn to walk without falling down. I think this first try at a tournament was a learning experience and will make sure the next one is a success. The way it is going we might have to scratch this whole thing and start all over...We shall see after August 6th

 

PainKiller can't play on his new computer but he's going to see if he can use his friend's computer.

He's probably going to PM me with the results or post here.

 

If he's using a LCD screen and SC is shifted to one side, tell him to set the refresh rate to 60 MHz. I had that problem and I spent a good half hour on hold on Blizzard Tech Support to speak with a guy for less than a minute.

i came out on top through luck and a gamble

we had no judge but i saved the replay...we are both n00bs and i don't think that it's a point that can be contended lol

I coulda had him if i had built a turret or two! Hahaha was a good game though, we were preety evenly matched I guess and think that's the most fun game ive ever had and I guess in retrospect I shoulda saved my base at the end also...wow, this really has made me realize how noob i actually am ^_^ ;D :good: owerup: to Nikzad

i must say, i am curious. did he go air, or some cloaked unit? (i dont know what races you were using, im just asking because you mentioned turrets.)

 

He went for the Reaver/DT drop and I was stupid and hadn't built missle turrets and didn't call off my attack. We were playing Python and I had my tanks, m&m, and goliaths outside blocking his ramp....so i just decided to take the risk and see if i could destroy his base before he could take out mine and apparently he had a lot of troops there....damn me and my not using comsat when i had to

i havent seen the replay, and im probably would have lost my game had my opponent not needed to go on vacation for a month, so i really shouldnt be talking. shutting up now.

 

im still taking bets, msg me with who you think will win any specific match and how much you wish to wager.

Kinda sucks that I wasn't able to play. Was out of town and completely spaced until I got a PM from drewcbarnard asking about my [upcoming] game against zeratul11.
