Nomad or Science Vessel

Science vessels were huge fucking bad ass spaced complexes. Remember the battle on Amerigo?

This nomad looks like a shitty little mobile repair bot that's piloted by some hick from the backwoods.

 

Well I'm sure Blizzard is reading this thread and they'll hopefully change the look.
I'm really not sure what I thought of the old Science Vessel, but the whole square look is kinda weird for the Nomad. Kinda looks like a wannabe flying Starport? (forgot what they're called...)
And since the Starport has the repair ability, I hope they give the nomad a better one.
Maybe a deployable dune-buggy haha.

the starbase is based on the sdf1 from robotech
ithe clue is in the designation, as well as in the shape of the thing

 

WHAT IS WITH THE "ripoff" claims?!?!?!??!

Just because an idea is similar does NOT mean its the same. The inspiration ALL comes from the same things. Watch the sci-fi channel once in a while and your idea of "ripoff" will stop being about "this is a ripoff from this game or that game" and change to "this is a ripoff from this show and that show."

It's all INSPIRATION and then ADAPTATION!

Ummm.... its different when you copy someone's paper word for word.

That's just plain the same thing.

If a unit looks SIMILAR and has different functions, we call that an ADAPTATION.

Also, copyrights on specific unit "types" are historically weak. i.e Tomb Raider, etc....
