    Hahaha, this is wonderful, I love it. That nomad is truly one fugly unit.

    It sorta makes you wonder how the Blizzard game designers work. I mean most of time you get just amazing looking thing that's just so badass; it's like, how can you be happy with a unit that looks like that? Maybe that have a big wheel that they spin with portions saying "Badass/stealthy/futuristic/Playskool" and they've just gotten lucky each time prior to the Nomad.

    Okay, I'll stop complaining for now cuz we're still in pre-beta.

    The Nomad is a little ugly, but it's abilities are useful. I like that it can repair air units. An SCV repairing a BattleCruiser was never really that believable.

    I chose Science Vessel, I dont wanna have a new unit with the same abilities. Also Nomad is too much like Norad in terms of spelling.

    Well Protoss get Warp-ins and all, I think it's all about the uniqueness of the 3 races.

    Nomads could have some sort of redesign since it really looks horrible. The nomad concept is good anyways

    I hope the nomad's design is only in its alpha stage lol. The nano-repair though sounds awesome and hope it even looks good in the future- eye candy ftw!

    -Ship shape -Ball shape
    -Ugly looking -Less ugly looking
    -Nano repair -Irradiate
    -Mass Def matrix -Single Def matrix
    -EMP -EMP
    -Detect -Detect

    all in all not much is change i think if what i know is ryt.. correct me f im wrong wid d details.. anyway the problem every1s been over and over is bout d look and d irradiate.... on my point of view i can say that the vessel is much functional as an offense giving it a slight edge against bio freals like the zerg,, on the other hand nomads are better for defense since they give larger matrix and the repair ability for fixing along the way which was a common problem for the terrans back then... all in all i give it a 4 for nomads and 6 for vessel for now only for the looks which i think is much more needed for the crafters of tomorrow lol.... but since blizz said everythings temporary.. wat do we know??? well just have to see

    Nice post! :powerup: Some things that I am still griping about is that I think an AOE def matrix and instant healers on a fleet of battlecruisers is overpowered. With the point that you brought out, y not get rid of EMP too and give it another defensive/support skill? Now it seems as though EMP does not fit in at all...

    sorry guys but I'm just throwing this out there for no reason what so ever

    what if the SCV had a special jetpack ability, like the reapers thing but a jump costed energy, I meen if they can fly up to a battle cruiser, why can't they jump a small ravine.

    Yeah, that was what I said. SCVs have thrusters and everything that helps them hover above the ground why can't they just fly up to a battle cruiser rather then stand on the ground. It should actually show the animation. Lol.

    Yeah, they should have some animations for air unit repair, a super-extending arrm maybe? Just a thought. ;D

    what if, to repair a space ship, the scv has to set up a sort of crane base and allow ships to come to it. When enemies come, scvs can unpack and pack somewhere more convenient. Maybe some strategy can be built around this.

    I dunno, that seems like it will take a really long time. Anyways, SCVs have jetpacks, why don't they just fly up there?

    Enough about SCV's! Please try to stay on topic and discuss Nomads and Science Vessells. To keep it going, I posted this earlier and received no response...

    science vessel by far, nomad has no irradiate at it looks ugly

    I surport everything on that "Whats Wrong With Starcraft II" except the skills. Like the countering thing, the blink ability, and the thor.
    I brought this up because Nomads look really block like all the other buildings.
