    It contains chambers in which it super-condenses and/or empties whatever particles are nearby/already in it ("air" in most planetary cases) in order to achieve a mass that floats regardless of the gravity field it is currently contained in.

    The crown of shadows is a Vampiric artifact, and I am king of the vampires, with it I have absolute reign, even though I am not the eldest of vampires. I still have advisors with a lot of power though.

    And we simply stole the plans to make our own insteller city powered by starspower, Ironic I know. But stars have a lot of untapped power.
