New terran bunker.

Do you think you'd go thru the trouble to slightly submerge a Bunker when its going against Zealots and stuff.

 

Can the bunker be sunken?
i thought only supply depo could do that.

 

Nope. It can't be lowered into the ground.

The supply depot can still do that.

He was talking about the aesthetics of the Bunker in relation to the terrian.

 

but the majority of the time, they would be facing zerglings or terran militia so sinking the bunker would be more pratical (to line up shots with lings or resist seige tanks).

 

I think it would be better if the actual model of the bunker was lower. I think thats what your saying /\, but I'm not sure. The only problem with a lower bunker would be enter/exiting, as it would probably have an submgered/semi-submerged entrance. This would apply to the lore of course.

 

I've seen Germen bunkers in Europe. They are mostly at ground level with foliage on top as camo. Bunkers that are underground are more like fallout shelters.

 

speaking of camoflauge, why shouldnt bunkers be camoflauge.

 

Why shouldn't every building be camouflaged really.

Because it would look stupid and not very Terran.

Keep in mind that we will be lucky to see different models for different tilesets (things like snow) let alone different camo.

 

That would be cool if the bunkers and other buildings changed according to what map they were on.

 

i just wanna see snow on them in the ice maps.

 

ya i kinda had that in mind when i was writing that last post. But it would also be cool to see bunkers with jungle camo, or in a dessert theme.

 

Gray plus team color plus another color depending on tileset would look silly.

I like the new bunker. The old one was way lower, and look like it was a dome building. The new one looks like a bunker should. I hope they keep the different weapons, and ranges when they are in the bunker. Like it looked like they were shooting out of the bunker with their own weapon, and range.

 

The bunker looks nice, I love the simbol of the Terrans in the roof.

Lol I'm a little late on seeing the new bunker, but yah that looks way better then the old one. The old one just looked like a armored tower.

 

this is an old screenshot, but the new screenshots also show that the bunker is even better then before

they touched up on the Maruader in blizzcon so it might look bulky but its not "bad" bulky
