New Swedish Scan for SC2 (Lots of interesting stuff)

I don't like the Sensor Tower. It's one of those things StarCraft had to it that distinguished it from other RTSs (especially Total Annihilation, today SupCom)- you needed units to keep an eye on the terrain, not just a bunch of ultra-high-ranged sensor structures. It completely removes the need to scout local areas, allowing Terrans to be much lazier.

Most of my speculations have been confirmed. My gatling gun idea for goliath came true as well.

The Viking is exactly how I thought it would be. Factory built, ground attack only in mech mode weak against armored units, replaces ground version goliath. Upgrade for fighter mode for air attack replacing both the valkyrie and the goliath's charon booster upgraded air attack.

It has been confirmed by Blizzard that it's not a super unit.

We don't even have enough actual facts(actually closer to none) about Thor to even begin to speculate about it being a super unit. Hell, the Thor even has its own topic about it not being a super unit.

 

They aren't going to have a super unit; the Thor is about as close as you're going to get for Terran. While the Protoss have the monstrous Mothership that is basically an army in itself, the Terran will make up for that with their Thor and their mix of powerful units. Each race's unique mechanics are its "super units."
