That's what I thought when I first saw them too. The original logo maybe a new Confederacy, the new is obviously the Sons of Korhol. The old toss logo is a toss/dark toss mix the new logo is a revived Auir's Conclave emblem.

Dang, the terran one looks kinda better. the old one looked like it was for an air force.

But, back on-topic, just incase these are the new logos, maybe we should contact Blizzard. or... or.. maybe.. start a petition. We all know how much they respond to petitions.

 

And we all know how sensible Blizzard fans don't favour petitions because they all know that anything can change until release. This is just not the way it goes that whatever is against our taste we raise our hands. There's a big difference between feedback and orders that some people fail to see. Let's just wait how this turns out.

You should know by now that you can't express an opinion on a forum without being expected to back it up. Saying something like that and then using the excuse it's offtopic as a reason not to back it up just comes out like a cheap swipe, you "took the bait" when you posted that in the first place.
You should start a topic in the lounge, its been a while since we've had a good bitter political debate.

Anyway to add a point to this post, I agree that they are probably faction logos, the protoss one just doesn't work for the united protoss.

 

mmm....if your putting it that way (guys who thinks these logos are diff fractions), i dont think zerg will have any cuz the zerg is all one and all controlled by the overmind.

edit: crap, i just realised zerg have diff celebrates and all, maybe they have their own signature...if ya know what i mean.

back on logo's

perhaps the terran one is for the remnants of the confederacy and the protoss one is for ulrezasj faction, or the hybrids, or even the Xel'Naga, though if it is, it needs a way darker blue

 

and also, ace, maybe they'll have different fractions of the zerg in sc2? who knows.

Not a fan of the Protoss one, seems like it's trying much too hard to be cyber-ish. Protoss, in my opinion, are a simple people at their core. I think they need something to show that off. Terran one isn't bad. Plain, but the Terrans are a plain race.

 

Could someone please create these in a 71x74 image and get them with the forum's postbit background color so that I can replace the old logos?
