This is the best april fools joke is seen this year....I love BLIZZARD. Also the tauren marine will probably be in the editor just for fun. I hope no one took this seriously though...otherwise they're just retarded.

 

I think the ax blade draws too much from Gears of War . Oh well if this is in the editor then I am going to have an army clash with a troop of them.

Hahahaha! They should make one an unlockable hero unit for a mission if say you finished another mission in a certain amount of time, like how they did with the Panderan in Frozen Throne...it could be kinda fun

so i got powered down for a double post when in fact i wrote it first and on top of that it got locked

all i wanted was a bonus minerals for a good post and in discovering it first but intead of that i got punished.
and if you were to cheack it wont say i made the post at a earlier time than this one

About that special unit, as I said before, it would be fine to get it as a cheat unit. You introduce a code, and it appears, devastating the enemies.

In AoE there were two special units : one who had a red lazer which killed every enemies, and anoter one who launched grenades or something else. It was like a ghot launching a nuke.

 

Please don't make such a problem out of this.
First of all, you shouldn't just post to receive a mineral bonus, you should instead be posting to contribute to the community. Second of all, you could have just send a mod a PM to notify the staff of the fact that you posted it first. There is no need to get angry if you haven't even attempted to properly solve your problem.

I am seriously irritated by your behavior and I think that you shouldn't have posted this in this topic, especially not without taking part in the discussion and messing up the topic with that. Because of that, I will also give you a owerdown:. However, don't worry to much about it, since the levels will get a reset in a few more days. Just learn from this, ok?

Back on topic:

No one knows, since the footage we have of the Tauren Marine doesn't show it attacking air units. Even so, that doesn't really matter. The unit will only be available in the editor for the purpose of using it in custom maps, so you can choose by yourself if you want it to be able to attack air or not.

Meh, the heroes in Starcraft have really important roles in the game. Any unit could be a hero in Warcraft, just for the sake of having upgrades for them. The Tauren can't really fit in the existing storyline, but perhaps it could be used in a secret mission or something like that.

p.s. Sorry for the wall of text here.

 

The Tauren Marine can certainly be in a special cow level, if i see a playable tauren marine in a cow level in sc2 , it would give me memories of this forum
