    Now thats all cleared up.

    Why do the spines come from her center when her claws would be at an angle while attacking, I hope they fix that cuz little things like that annoy me when it comes to visuals.

    Queen needs a batter missile, pronto!!!

    The Roach spitting slime is my dream come true, other than using his axes that is. He looks like a unit that can use the tunnel ability of the Infestor, more so than the Infestor itself!

    Ur dream doesnt make sense since its real anyway (doesnt the roach puke out acid slimes)... i believe the roach as of now is a ranged unit, and those claws are rather just for visuals and probably would just be his means of tunneling underground...

    roach need a little buff in damage, is very slow, you can not escape and regen.

    Who's with me when I say that our Queen (Zerg) should have a scream capability that calls up zerglings and some surface-to-air unit from underground like the drop pods?

    This scream can be a similar sound to what the previous Queen used to make from StarCraft 1, the one that echoes across the map?

    Also, how about a TRAPDOOR attack similar to a trap door spider where it can creep up the deep hole and snatch a unit?

    (Alternate options, scream can weaken terran / protoss for a cooldown period, or psych up zergs like bloodlust in warcraft...)

    can this be done?

    i think its a bad move not allowing the queen to lay the defense mechanisms, makes her a bit of a uselissk...

    1) double post. Edit your posts next time.

    2) Automatically creating a bunch of zergling/hydralisks out of nowhere is OP because all it costs is energy, where normal producing these units would cost hundreds of minerals and gas. Besides, Blizzard has already toyed with the idea of having Queens make actual units, and it didn't work.

    Trapdoor attack - It's already in game. It's called burrow-ambushing.

    3) do you really want ALL base defense to depend on one unit? I sure as hell wouldn't, and the Queen is far from useless. look here and you'll see all of the abilities it has

    so all the queen can do is
    -make larva mutate into somekind of new unit
    -make base defences
    -and do all of those upgrades that u see on the starcraft wiki?

    _if the queen dose those upgrades can she move when doing those upgrades?_

    oh if the upgrade that gives lings (and a buch more units) give them armor, then wouldn't that make
    the ling an even more destructive unit considering that it would take even longer to kill like it takes
    forever to kill a *Health: 25 *Armor: 10 larva or egg in sc1?

    (ok, it wouldn't take that long but then zerglings would be even more dangerous.)
    that would be kinda cool.

    Oh, and one more thing (this is COMPLETELY off topic) but what the heck it the minerals in the corner of
    your username? Is it just there for fun or does it do anything?

    Dang it really does go really slow!

    But still, I find it kind of odd that you can get
    the queen so early. but i guess that you kind
    of have to. and whats the suddon "oh the queen is really slow"
    thing? It has nothing to do with what were talking about.

    The OP was about what's entailed by Queens stronger than ultralisks. A slow queen would be hard to get into battle (unless players did Queen drops...who'd have a reaver drag its' ass across the map under its' own power). You can't be sure you'll win a battle. When conditions are against you and the Queen's committed she'd stay stuck-in, becoming a liability. Ultralisks aren't just tough and good attackers they're decently fast. If things go bad you can pull ultralisks out. A unit that'd need covered so it could slowly retreat or left to die isn't a practical alternative.

    Did you write that all zerg research is now done through the Queen?

    i think they took out the slow off creep part of the Queen since it is no longer a unique unit. but im not entirely sure, oh and that vid you link was from March when the zerg was announce, lots have changed since then.

    The should just let you build Queens, and have them be mobile Hatcheries basically. Make for some good new strategies.

    They have basicly made them moble hacheries. and you can make more then one now.

    And i never said that all upgrades were done through the queen
    all i said is what she could do.
