haha yeah.. don't be haters of the projectile weapon!

Lasers are cool, but I think that some nice cannons/railguns would be damn cool and supply a nice effect!

And lasers in the future? Why focus light when you can just blow stuff up?? The laser technology is more appropriate for the protoss. Humans simply build bigger and better.

I personally think that battlecruisers should fire giant supersonic bombs. That would be shaweet.

ok. UED = lasers.

my only problem is the terran ATA fighter. they dont have any, and if blizz is planning to make one it should shoot laser! did blizzard cut the predaor bcoz it shoots lasers? bad decision. wraith fires lasers, and it make sense that the best ATA fighter in a sci fi setting should be fast and shoot lasers so dont make the viking as the terran ATA fighter.

I doubt that a few thousand percents. The lasers are only visual and could easily have been changed without scrapping the whole unit.

It was the Terrans AtA unit it could intercept projectiles or something.

Battlecruiser is fine as it is, plz don't touch it.
Terran need something with something unique to them like electricity, fire, radiation, sonic waves, focused UV. And I meantion these as they are used today.

The Predator is a scrapped Terran AtA unit.

It could switch into an "intercept mode" where it would destroy enemy projectiles.

yea whatever guys. The more lasers the better. Next we need to give Terran a new version of the marine that jumps out of the battlecruisers with light sabers, except they don't fight with the light sabers they just do jump kicks for massive damage against giant alien crabs!

wow.. we think the same. we are open, imaginative and very creative and doesn't limit ourselves with pistols etc..haha. i really like an electric attack sonic force wave for the terran. i like weapons that we can actually see the projectiles, yes the focus UV sounds nice. =)

and most hates me for bringing up weapons like that in other threads. :-\

so do you think the predaot rwas cut bcoz it look nice and sleek. not terran like? omg! here we go again.

bring bakc the predator coz it looks great as a terran ATA unit.

maybe they wil make the predator a UED unit.

I said that it most likely was the mechanics that phailed the tests, otherwise they would have changed the design but kept the intercept mechanics, right?

The Terrans "we" like have pistols, lasers, cannons, machine guns and grenade/rocket launchers, while you want them to have high tech weapons only. That is limited.

No one said only. Also they use all of those things stated above in the military as far as I'm concerned. I watch Future Weapons. Also don't forget this galaxy or time they are in is obvioulsy on a higher technological level than us and the Terran still don't have much to show for it, meaning everything Terran have we as earthlings in the 21st century actually have.
Also plz note we have lasers and they are used in every day appliances such as printers. So tell me how could lasers be too high tech for Terran?

What are you talking about?! Every single, most basic infantry walks around in a powersuit! They have spaceships that shoot lasers, and a mere pistol in the starcraft universe is a automatic gauss gun as big as a torso.

Laser printers count as "high tech weapons"?
