    Whoa, that's an awesome idea :p And, if you felt so inclined as to take out some resistence, you could nuke them first, and time it so that the DropPod lands a few seconds after, it would be CARNAGE! :p

    Nice idea, it would work well on small maps where bases are close to each other. Teching dropships would still be more effective I think, unless your opponent was smart and place AA defence on the sides of his base.

    It would work as an exceleent diversion, or a quicker way to get your reinforcements to the battle.

    I like the reapers's mines because in gameplay action, it must be a pain in,,, you know, to serch the tiny mines in order to destroy them. I'm wondering if they can be spotted in the minimap but anyway, reapers can fly away before you note that they left a little present to you hehe

    True, the Reaper's Mines will be so much fun for harass. :p

    I agree with IO about Blink. I think that out of all the abilities it has the most applications and will be the most effective depending on your skill level, ie better players will be able to use it to a better ability.

    I do have to add that I love the new Ghost. Its new abilities are so sweet, I think that it is a must have unit in almost every game now, and that is sweet.

    i really like blink, its just so freeaking kool! draw in an enemy where their is obviously a weaker force... then blink in like 20 stalkers right behind the enemy forces for major ownage!

    The force field is the blue crystal looking thing in the middle.

    The purple glowing thing is the mothership's timebomb, which slows down all enemy movement in the area. The force field is basically the same as the stasis field except it targets individual units, not an area.

    I like the ghost-snipe mostly because its about time they could use that huge rifle to kill something instead of it just being a puff of smoke that can shoot farther than a marine.

    you build the droppod in the shadow ops, a tier 3 building, like a nuke and than you lock on to its firing location with the ghost

    basically a nuke

    a nuke with no cool explosion. But it gets more units into the fray quickly.

    If the ghost dies, does the pod with the marines just vanish like the nuke in sc1?

    you know what would be cool is if the ghost got killed before he finished spotting the nuke could go far course by a bit or something.

    That would add a bit more realism and would be pretty cool.

    imo pod should travel all the way from base to spot, maybe not visibly but it should be recorded
    Then if ghost is down it would just land as far as it managed to get by then. If it's water or open space on platform maps, well...

    I really, REALLY like the Phoenix's overload.

    Why? because its BALANCED. Planet cracker? Puhleeze. I bet that one gets signifigantly less powerful. Snipe, I like, makes sense, and if it has a long cool down rate, it could be useful. I have yet to see a good video of the High Templar abilities though, so I will wait.

    Anyway...

    Overload ftw.

    I acctually like Snipe alot, you could take out key targets, like High Templars, or Defilers (Assuming they're in) before they can do any real harm.
