I cannot believe my eyes that people did not vote for the Reaper's D-8 Charges! Haven't you ever wanted to toss explosive ordinance into other people on a game? DAMN!

Throws D-8 charge into your faces.

I can't decide :upset:.  I love both of the new ghost abilities, I love reaper mines, i love the MS abilities, and I love the viking transform.  If only black hole were still in the game then I'd know what my favorite was.

    BRING BACK BLACK HOLE!!!

Until then I cannot vote.  If they never bring it back I will never vote.  :upset:

Don't worry ImaGine.. I voted for Reapers mines. I liked Reapers before they got the charges, but now I like them even more.

Hey, wait! Not to my face!

I like the Reaper's mines too. But I prefer the drop Pod. And the Ghost's Snipe even. Is it possible to target units than structures with the mines ?

    *BOOM !*

You don't target the structure itself, you target the ground around it. So if you click on a building, the bombs get thrown at the ground as close to it as possible, I guess. If you want to target units, just throw them on the ground beneath them.

Of course, they would just run away. :p
Maybe Time Bomb + Reaper charges is a good combo when playing with allies.

Woah thanks for bumping this up LT I had never saw it before. Any way there are so many great abilities -_- I don't know what to pick...I think I have to go with the high Templar's forcefield though. This ability really hasn't been seen much and I bet a lot of people don't know about it (well our forum members do because this is the best site ever) but I think it adds alot of strategy for the protoss that just wasn't there in the first game.

"OK guys were all protoss so heres the plan.... all of us mass carriers! OK lets do this thing!"

Yeehaw! I gots me an -|LT|-

I still prefer the blink ability to the others listed. Blink makes them excellent raiders and the perfect support for the colossus because of thier AA attack.

Blink by far as i believe with the right amount of micro it could be used to make the stalker one of the most feared units in the game:
    -Blink raids
    -Blink escapes
-Blink assault (an idea of mine: since the stalker can blink to anywhere on the map that is seen then it should be simple enough to place an advanced scout unit ex. Observer over the enemies base/ expansion then simply blink in a large force of stalkers in an attempt to destroy the base/expansion, if there is heavy Resistance and your stalkers begin dying at large rates then simply blink back out to a safe point of the map and regroup)

I thought it could only blink anywhere within it's sight range, not anywhere that is visibly seen by that player.

DropPods will definately be alot of fun to use. I can imagine it being useful against people who wall-in. Just toss one into the supplie line, and they have to scramble to get their forces over to it. When they do that, throw your main force at the front gate. If you have more than one DropPod, use all of them at the supplie line, and try to take out the Main Buliding. Even some of the army, if you can.

DropPods could be used across islands too. If you don't have a transport at the moment and you're in the visibility range of your opponent across an island. Just drop some marines there and BAM.
