Mysterious Countdown on the Homepage!??

We know the internal beta would have been done much before the public beta is released. But we do not know if the public beta will be used for testing bugs and such on various computers around the world or just for people's first impressions on the game.

Personally I think the public beta will pretty much bug free. I think Blizzard will just use it to work out things like how will it will fit in the e-sport world like SC 1 fit in brilliantly and also it's general feel. As so the game's interest does not die down. So in short practically finished technically wise but just after human feedback.

 

Lmao. Brood Wars was released over a decade ago and they are still patching it. Do you honestly believe that the beta, or even the boxed version, will be free of bugs? It would be nice to have a pc game that does not need 10 patches to run smoothly for once, though

For me that would be best possible senario.

 

no no.. the best possible scenario would be a EPIC 10 Minute Cinematic battle between the protoss and the terran with the zerg intervening, and at the end of it all the announcement of beta and the announcement of the release date, cost, and specs

i found out later that its not really that good a game.. just the graphics.. lol
